My favorite part about Doctor Who is how the Doctor doesn't even have any on-screen powers. Sure, off screen and in canon he's a divine being that can vaporize a million dalek ships with the snap of a finger, but on screen? He's just A Guy. He literally is just some guy who happens to be clever and good at talking. He just stalls and bullshits his way out of every single situation, it's amazing.

He's like those rich guys that are rich from having money. He manages to scare someone off and then people get scared of him because he managed to scare The Big Bad Guy off and it's just an endless loop of him not doing anything and still winning

Seeing cool people doing the same things as non-cool people is so weird. Like I'll see a cool person working as a cashier in a grocery store and it's just like. what are you doing here. you should be in a display window being cool all day. not working.
