I lived in the most chaotic/toxic environment for almost 8 years and was silently taught during that time my peace and rest was not important. While having love withheld and being treated like a dog. I allowed this to happen. I gripped tighter.

And like any normal human, I got to my breaking point. I acted out of character, I lashed out, I broke trust, I lost a lot. Most of it was my own doing.

Fast forward 3 years, I am living in an environment that is my safe haven, with a family that prioritizes my rest and peace. Something I’ve never really had.

My wife is a huge factor in this. She reminds me everyday it’s ok to take things slow, to be thoughtful to myself, and that mistakes are human. The softness she has shown me and given is entirely unmatched. I can’t even put into words just how much I appreciate her and the life we’re building.

Anyways I just wanted to share how truly amazing she is. I want everyone to know just how much I love her.
