hey @reignmask since you won’t talk to me privately, lets confront your anti-semitism and jewish appropriation in public.

i am a politics major with a focus in religion. i am jewish but i have studied both the torah and the new testament as well as the quran. i’m not sure you even read the story of esther based on how you “interpreted” it.

here’s the content in question. let’s break it down for you.

first, let me start off with how i politely asked you to please remove or change the headcanon. now, i have no problem with you using esther, i have a problem with how you did it. it paints the jewish people as brutes, and uses our faith as a means to justify christianity.

HIATUS 6/10-6/24

hewwo fello youths it’s your local chai coming to you with a hiatus notice! in five days i am going to israel!!!!!!! i’m super excited but it’s also a really intense trip with both sightseeing and lectures. we’re taking two weeks to see the country, and since i’m going on a specialty trip, we’re visiting conflict zones (gaza border, golan, syrian refugees).

alas, i will likely not have time to write (or if i do, it’ll likely be spent going out / crashing from extremely long days), but i will be on disco/rd somewhat. i’m no sure what the wifi is like in israel, but i’ll at least have it at night when we’re in hotels. i have limited data, so there’s a 99% chance i won’t be on much during the day.

however! i have free texting (it won’t cost anyone either) if any mutuals are interested in keeping in touch over the next two weeks and i will check in on tum.blr and disc/ord when i can.
