Progressing doesn't always look glamorous. Sometimes progressing looks like taking a few steps back and "downgrading" in a superficial way to accomplish a goal that will propel you further much more in the long run.

I'm learning to not allow what my current circumstances may look like on the outside and present time because I know that the actions I take for a better life entail moments of sacrifice and perseverance. I'm learning that having the possibility to improve my life is a blessing in and of itself. I'm learning to not allow the flaunting of others to distract me from my ultimate goal because I understand that my path and that of others are not the same, and my path is that of greatness and greatness takes effort and patience.
