I deleted my previous post because I love Butches so much. When I say I want a NJB, it means I want a Nice Jewish Butch. My little brother took me to a Hockey game for Hanukkah a week ago. Hockey is my favorite sport because there’s constant movement, truly the best sport for those who struggle to watch slower games. One of the best parts is that I got a free shirt, too. I had a great time and I always enjoy going to a game. Even though we lost in overtime, we’re still doing better than Kings. No, I haven’t seen the gay hockey show, I’m not interest in watching it. I’m glad people are enjoying it though.

The American Jewish community is dealing with the agony of watching a country that is supposed to represent Jewish ideals, and which represents a very important part of Jewish life, commit genocide. The dream of Zionism is a PEACEFUL homeland for Jews, not endless war and bloodshed. There’s no reason Zionism isn’t compatible with Palestinian liberation. There’s room enough for everyone. But we’ve had to watch Netanyahu and his ilk twist Zionism into a monster.

Do you think we’re not discussing this? We are! We’re angry and hurting, for Palestinians, for the hostages, for everyone. But there’s so little energy to speak up about it because we have to protect ourselves from violent antisemitism everywhere in America, and especially at rallies.

If you want me to march with you, you’re gonna have to stop being antisemitic. You’re gonna have to listen to Jews at your rally if they tell you something is antisemitic. I promise we are not doing it to silence you, we are speaking up so more of us don’t get murdered. American Jews dying in the streets does not help liberate Palestinians in Gaza.

Here’s some starting points: Stop treating American Jews like pariahs, parasites, or traitors. Stop using antisemitic slurs made up by the KKK like “Zio”. Stop acting like every Jewish symbol is equivalent to a swastika. We’re angry at the government of Israel, right? Not Jews in general? RIGHT?

Like, wouldn’t a strong presence of Jews at your rally be a powerful symbol to the government of Israel to say “look, the country with half the world’s Jews is marching against you!” ? But we’re not going to come out if there’s a good chance we’re going to be attacked for being there.

Please DO feel free to keep calling Netanyahu a murderer though. He is one. He should be arrested and go to trial for this, as should all his generals.

I agree with most of this, but I'm still going to defend Israel's right to exist. Us Jews still have a right to have self determination in our ancestral homeland. To deny Jewish Indigeneity is also antisemitic. I would say 95% of these protestors deny Jewish History and our connection to the land. I hate the Israeli Government and what they're doing, but I'm not going to throw half of my people under the bus. I'm not going to let Antisemitic Leftists and Kahanists twist what Zionism actually means. I believe in a peaceful Two State Solution.

I want to preface this by saying I want to live in peace with our Palestinian cousins and that we can share the land. None of us are going anywhere. I’ve seen what you’ve been reblogging and I know the path it takes you down. It ends at calling for the destruction of Jewish Self Determination and calling Ashkenazi Jews white colonizers. I want the current Israeli government gone. However, I don’t trust the international community to keep us safe. If anything, these last two years, my trust in the international community has completely vanished.
