#listen………………………………#i also think of this Frequently#and the fact that as far as we know we see the throne room scene as it actually happened#and as it actually happened… q was in that moment softer and sweeter and more tender and less prickly than he’d ever been in his life#so there’s something there about like… even before eliot realizes how much he’s been holding on to that moment#the q in his brain is the q he turned away#and then there’s also what it says about eliot’s conception of himself and what he values or rejects in his own way of being#he’s haunted by all these regrets of memories he made in anger and when he thinks of q there’s no anger there#also the fact that memory margo just hanging out in the cottage seems pretty true to the real thing#but the memory margo he calls into being with q highlights her hardness and her power#like he kind of splits up his own needs…#or splits up the versions of himself he is with them…#Something Like That idk (x)
