Was today years old when I found out apparently if you let your boyfriend of 6 years into your friend's RP server he will almost IMMEDIATELY start doing Erotic RP with anyone willing without so much as notifying you and get mad that you didn't tell him there's rules of engagement around this sort of thing.

Peter in Gotham fic but it’s a soulmate AU. Jason Todd never had a soulmate mark and it contributed to him feeling abandoned by a society that praises them so heavily and Peter who was always surrounded by so much love but still had cursed Parker luck who thought he was better off without one. Then after the events of No Way Home, Peter classically shifts to the DC universe and is surprised when he feels the supposed burn of getting a soulmate mark. Meanwhile Jason Todd is pissed to wakeup to the same burning feeling.

FINE I’LL DO IT MYSELF:

Peter’s soulmark rests over his heart, the placement is meant to represent how Peter is scared to give 100% of his heart to anyone due to his “Parker Luck”. Everyone he has loved and let know all of him has either died or no longer remembers him. This placement shows how he doesn’t have to be scared to let his soulmate see and know all of him.

The mark has a soft robin that’s flying and curving around the bottom of a bright red star at the very center. Curving around the top of the star is the skeleton of a bird that Peter assumes is also a robin. It looks like the birds are engaging in a dance with each other with this red star at the very center of their lives. Peter can’t help but look at the skeleton of the bird in fear, wondering if this is to show his soulmate’s fate now that he’s stuck with Peter Parker. He can’t stop the feeling of awe when the bird's wings gently flutter in time with the shimmering of the red star.

Jason marks the inside of his wrist, right over his pulse point to represent his forced detachment from others and the space he tries to put between his friends and family. This shows his soulmate will be a grounding presence and will also help him bridge the gap he put between himself and others.

The mark is a spider that gently cuffs his wrist, the body of the spider rests right over his pulse point and the legs cuff around the back of his wrist sitting loose in a way to show support but not restricting him. The spider has an hourglass on its abdomen similar to a black widow symboll but instead of being red the hourglass seems to shimmer with moving stardust at the top of the hourglass that slowly falls onto the spiderweb that is in the bottom of the symbol. Spiders are patient hunters and the hourglass represents that his soulmate will have the patience and dedication to help Jason and take care of him but Jason can’t help to think that it means his time with a soulmate is limited.

Yesterday I found myself on threads (fully an accident I swear) arguing with a dude about why getting defensive over "I hate men" comments is missing the point when virtually every woman is at best two degrees of separation from a victim of domestic violence.

Today I found out that my baby brother has been arrested on domestic violence aggravated assault and kidnapping charges against his former gf. There's video evidence.

Definitely not how I wanted to be proven right.

Okay I JUST realized I never posted these on here—- BUT BASICALLY, about a year and a half ago I started doing these experimental black hairstyle posts that were threads long on Twitter, to give artists a source of inspo for their black ocs whose hair they wanted to try something new with! There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl!
