y'know throughout the process of writing this Queen doc, I've not watch BoRhap or seen interviews or read articles on the movie or cast because I've been so absorbed with Queen i just haven't gotten the time. now I'm on the final episode, and I'm truly starting to realise how much I know about the movie, because whilst it's been months since I've consumed anything about the movie, I just spent two hours typing about the BTS of the movie, the cast's biographies and filmographies and have only just gotten to filming without ever leaving the document to Google anything. purely from memory. Idk if I'm proud or really bloody concerned, but that's how things are going right now.

News update!!!

I (sheamus) have just finished episode 17! This means that we're now onto writing the FINAL episode!! It's been a long time running and it's not close to finishing yet, but a small step closer is still a step 🥳

Its been a while so I feel I need to update!

16 episodes out of 18 have been written for the queen documentary which is fab if I do say so myself, and it shouldn't be too much to write the last two so hopefully the editing process doesn't take too long and we can look to recording things and making videos soon!

Well we're planning a podcast for people to vibe with, there's 5 episodes left to script of the main documentary and we're looking for Queen fans to ask us any questions about any thoughts on particular things to do with the documentary making process or Queen themselves

Hello hello dear people who follow this account - it is I, sheamus here to update you all on what's been happening. I am so close to finishing this episode; the only reason I haven't is because I've been out on walks lately going around London. I went on a Queen excursion, going to different locations of substance. Would people like to see those or not?... maybe one day. I've also been onto of those articles, but typing is a strain on the hand you see. Jax has been doing some digging on his break and we've also made shop on getting a summer project started for pre and post documentary; perhaps next update you'll have more on that? Apart from that I'm not sure what there is to say documentary wise except it is still very much consuming my life 👍 but all for a good cause, right? Yeah, course. I know some places in the world are opening up right now, and some places aren't, so wherever you are make sure you're taking care of yourself. You should be your top priority; you, your safety and health!

Hello! Another update!!

We now officially have 11 episodes down after deciding to rearrange what goes where, which means we're currently at a stage where there's not much information on studio, but we'll documented shows rather than vice versa like we saw in early years. Essentially, we're trying not to make it boring which is proving tough, but we're getting there. In and amongst all of the scripting has been more timeline work, article finding and of course photo finding. We currently have a Google drive with every 70's picture if the band Sheamus has on their phone which is 1010, approximately (and thats only the 70's!) Our aim with this is to make a comprehensive gallery of pictures one day, but collecting them does take time, let alone sorting them out! We're very excited for the release of the interview we mentioned in our previous update, that will be released in between this and next update. With schools kicking back up, and work, balancing time to get this done is become increasingly more difficult, but we're pushing through! Hey everybody! Here is Jaxon with more news for Queenthology. We've got to share some very positive news! Me and Sheamus got in touch with Jamie Atkins from Record Collector last month, who was doing an interview with Brian and Roger with questions submitted by fans. On January 18th, we submitted our questions, and just yesterday I received an email from him saying that in the interview, our questions would be addressed! We hope that Brian and Roger will find out about the project, since we had mentioned it to Jamie. If they happen to know, it'll be a blessing, but for now, until sometime around March, it's left for prayer. Anyway, on March 11th, the issue will be published! We're so excited to check it out! As for progress on the doc, we're now up to January 1985, or Rock in Rio, so steady progress but still lots to come! I (sheamus) have done a bit more article hunting, putting them onto a doc along with the rest of the collection! I'm also in the midst of finding dates and interviews that are audible (youtube) and trying to dig out information from there we haven't got this far, but with lots more to come we're very much doing alright and thank you for the continued support :-)

Hello Everyone! This is Jaxon here with another update for the Queenthology project. We haven’t got much to say besides the fact that things have been very very chaotic lately. I moved across the country (fucking C a n a d a ) last Saturday and I’ve been having a rough time adjusting to the time zones. I think adjusting from a house to a one bedroom apartment has been throwing me off too. Sheamus has been having a lot of free time recently though, so they have been working on the script. We’re ALMOST done! Sheamus is just about to get a start on Episode 12, and I’ve been a bit too busy to do much, as school has been quite a handful for me at the moment. But I’ll always make sure to check in every once in a while!

January 22nd Update

       Hey everybody! Jaxon & Sheamus here back for yet another update. We apologise for the slight delay in our schedule for updates as we k i n d o f o r g o t . It's all good, we do have things to share. We were behind schedule, but we have produced a simpler schedule that keeps us on schedule. Now, we are aiming at a release date of November 8th now! Given that it was initially expected to be premiered in April of next year, this is great!!

       We have scripted 10 episodes (up to December 1982) and are looking forward to the next few episodes as the workload should be better than previous episodes due to the band’s schedule being non-existent in 1983 and tour dates slimming down. We’re also making arrangements to have more calls that allow us to edit the script on a more regular basis; Huzzah!

       We’re looking into doing a Q&A! We did think of doing a Q&A on our Instagram story, but it seems more likely that it wouldn’t work out with the algorithm. Instead, we’re asking that you comment on any questions that you might have below, and we’ll have an answer for you on February 4 (the next update).

       Effective today, we’re looking for fans who are willing to participate in interviews for our documentary! All we ask is that you MESSAGE and let us know, and we’ll be conducting the interview stages on June 28th. When you notify, we’ll have a slot ready for you by the following day. We hope to include every fan’s interview sporadically throughout the documentary!

       We’ve also submitted a few questions to the Record Collector Magazine for an interview they’re doing with Brian and Roger and with any luck they’ll ask our questions! Admittedly, we were stumped on what to ask but we got there in the end! We mentioned our documentary project to the man asking the questions, trying to be modest... We should find would what’s happening anytime between this week and March 11th!

September 3rd: Queen go to see Peter Straker live at the Edinburgh Fringe Assembly Rooms. September 4th: The band flew back to London. September 5th: The band celebrated Freddie’s 30th birthday. September 6th: Work continues for a week on the album. September 8th: Queen are photographed receiving awards for Bohemian Rhapsody.

January 7th 2021 Update ~

Hello dear people and time for another Queenthology update!!!

We have actually been rather productive as of late, so good news!!! We are over half way through the script now and we've began reviewing older episodes on call and adding any information we had missed previously. We've also got a website coming up which is in the development processes at the moment but is looking good!!! We're thankful for all the support and continuous appreciation and help we get from all of you, the support doesn't go unnoticed!! And on a final note, we wish everyone well and happiness as we have entered this new year into anything but. Your health and wellbeing should be your priority and we here hope you're all coping well ❤

"To anyone fascinated by the life of the roadies, Ratty wrote a book called Queen Unseen which has some barmy stories he said that one summers evening in Charlestown, "a local lass, upon being invited to a crew member's room for a night cap, confided that her fantasy was to be put naked in a bathtub of liquid cherry flavoured Jello and to all it to set around her. She also wanted sprayed whipped cream included in the dessert. Not wishing to disappoint the young lady, a local cab company was rapidly called, and the driver dispatched to the local 7-eleven with a fistful of dollars and instructions to get a receipt..." whilst the cabbie was out getting the requirements, the young woman asked "to be tied to a chair with some velcro straps normally used for securing cables." Needless to say, the night went along with what the woman wanted and finished the night with a story they wouldn't really want their mothers to know."

Queenthology Update (12/24/20)

Hello all! Sheamus here again with an update and wow, it’s Christmas eve! The anniversary of the Hammersmith Odean show, the culmination of a years worth of worries to forget about tommorow or perhaps just another day for you. However you celebrate or go about this time of year, myself and Jax wish you a grand time and good health. Especially this year it's important to keep safe and well in body and mind, and we here hope that you all are doing just that. Now in terms of progress on the doc, we've decided to take the rest of December off due to outside pressures and also stress, so there's not much added since last time except we're now up to July 1980! So close to half way there 😫😫😫 As always, here is your sneak peak, and so before I say goodbye, I'll say again the wishes of good health and happiness over this period, whether you celebrate Christmas or not, everyone deserves to be well. "For the last gig of the tour at The Forum in Inglewood, they all smashed the ball out of the park with one of the singular most outrageous performances they had done to date. Freddie and Brian performed White Christmas in the acoustic set and for the first encore, "Big Paul" Korzilius, the band's bodyguard, dressed as Santa with a big sack filled of... Freddie! Yes, out from the bag came a silver studfed man ready to get back singing and that he did. In addition to the 5,000 balloons and blow up dolls dropped on the audience, three belly dancers, John Reid, Peter Straker, Reindeers, Clowns, a walking Christmas Tree and a demonic gingerbread man joined the band on stage causing absolute havoc." Queenthology Update (12/10/20)

Hello dear friends! How are we all doing? Sheamus here today - for once - coming in with your fortnightly update! I am pleased to announce that we are officially one episode away from having scripted half of the entire doc! With 18 episodes planned, I just finished Jazz and its subsequent tour as well as pieces of Flash Gordon. Jax has as always been strenuously working on the timeline and we have a call planned sometime soon to go over everything we have so far and make sure we're up to date with all information provided as lots has been added since we started! This week has been testing for us with outside pressures and so we've both taken the week off but will working again soon. I won't lie, thus entire project has been extremely tiring for the both of us, but we are extremely passionate about this and want to provide the best possible outcome and so eventhough these updates aren't much, I assure you that in the end it'll all be leading up to something worth while (I hope so anyways). Todays the anniversary of A Day At The Races, so shall we share something from then? Lets. I know Jax usually does a section from the timeline, but that's his forte, mine is the script... ' ' A review of the second show revealed how the band were already playing material from their overly incomplete album. But I'd also just fantastically complimentary in the most overt way possible. "Words just cannot describe the Queen concert at the Playhouse on Thursday. To say they were stunning is an understatement. I also hear them described as 'almost too perfect'. From the moment the first chords of Bohemian Rhapsody filtered through the massive 16,000 watt PA to the end of their second encore - a 12 bar which broke the sound barrier - it was a musical dream. Lead singer Freddie Mercury, in a white boiler suit, was the most commanding seven stone weakling I've ever seen as he danced through clouds of acrid smoke, caused by earlier explosions... Taylor's solo on Keep Yourself Alive was crisp to the point without labouring and Deacon moved about the stage as if it was his own living room. ' ' Turrah! Sheamus of Queenthology

Queenthology Update (11/26/20)

Hello everybody, we've come back to inform you regarding our development. Recently, I began working on what we imagine to be our Christmas present to everyone. The most I can tell about it is that it's an analysis, an analysis of two Queen songs, the first being relatively predictable, considering it's a Christmas surprise. The timeline is still being worked on, I finished  the main bulk of everything, of course with Sheamus’s help.The second thing that needs to be regarded is the script process. We've completed about six episodes up to this point. Huge thanks to Sheamus for her strenuous effort on the script and the entire venture by itself.

Unfortunately, not much else has happened since the past two weeks has went by. On other news, Sheamus joined my band @wingednight to help organize our website. Having a close friend like Sheamus on our team is an amazing thing for all of us.

What’s being excluded from the bag of treats today? Well another timeline bit.

August 1st, 1973: Freddie Mercury has a photoshoot with George Wilkes at Holland Road, Wilkes also photographs the band rehearsing at Haverstock Hill.

August 3rd, 1973: Queen played a gig at The Mayfair Ballroom in Newcastle.

August 5th, 1973: Queen entered Trident Studios to work on their second album.

August 6th, 1973: Seven Seas of Rhye (Takes 12 - 16) and Father to Son (Takes 1 - 4) are recorded at Trident Studios.

August 9th, 1973: Promotional video taping for Keep Yourself Alive and Liar. Queen might have had a few days off as well. The band does an interview around this time.

Queenthology Update (11/12/20)

Hello everybody. We have come back to life to notify you of everything that has occurred over the past three weeks. This update will, more or less, be about our first projections for the project. There's been a marked rise in workflow recently. On October 26th, we arranged a heavy calendar, so we can tell you this will be a tiresome task. Until April 4th, we are jam-packed with scripts, and we have a predicted grand opening on April 9th, 2022. The launch date brings me on to our next subject. How are we going to release this beast? Firstly, it takes us a month to do some pre-release project advertisement. Eventually, in late February, we will possibly reveal a teaser. We also take the opportunity to play with certain friends and relatives independently. Given the multitude of information we have got, the playback may take some time around two weeks. We have a 2 episode per week cycle for public release. On Saturday, we're planning to release 1 episode and then the other on Sunday. The cycle will recur until we have no further episodes to premiere. As of now, the premiere will be from April 9th until June 6th, 2022. That being said, we are two years out, and before the final digital master exports, we will not have a concrete publication date. Do not depend on these dates. They have a lot more treats landing your way for some of those who may be fretting about the wait. Who knows? You might earn a holiday gift from us.

May 18th, 1975: The band went to see Led Zeppelin live at Earl’s Court.

May 23rd, 1975: Freddie Mercury wins second place at the Ivor Novello awards for Killer Queen.

May 28th, 1975: Queen signed with John Reid.

Queenthology Update (10/23/20)

Hello everyone, Jaxon speaking. We have returned to come back and notify you of what's been going on throughout October. Work has been regularly crested within Thursdays to Sundays, which would be due to school. For the most part, a preliminary timeline is in The Works and expectedly should be ready for Halloween. Scripting on Episode 2 has started recently, and the basic structure is mostly complete. The timeline is day-to-day, including some dates that possess a specific timeline within the day. Following this paragraph is a citation from the preliminary timeline. It should provide you an impression of anything to anticipate on the chronological spectrum. Sheamus and I have every episode blue-printed for when the moment arrives to script separate bits. The composition of every episode is one per album, with one or two anomalies in the plan. Each episode will be approximately 45 - 75 minutes, and we foresee to start communicating with people to interview once every episode goes through the scripting process. Nevertheless, this is everything that was wanted to announce, this has been Jaxon speaking, and we wish that you enjoy the short excerpt!

November 4th, 1976: Queen shoots the promotional video for Somebody To Love at Sarm Studios.

November 5th, 1976: Compilation mix of A Day At The Races is made today.

November 9th, 1976: Copy mixes created at Wessex Sound Studios.

November 11th, 1976: A music life magazine issue is published with some Hyde Park photos on them.

November 12th, 1976: Somebody to Love is released in the UK.
