Google show me weird perverted knitting patterns. Knitting patterns for masochists. Weird unsettling unnecessarily complex knitting charts. Hey google give me freak knitting ideas. Creepy sweater pattern colorwork free pdf download.
Haven’t had a chance to watch the tutorial yet, but I’m seriously considering making this for my gf’s niece
Knitting progress. <3
I made something. I'm just waiting for the clasp to arrive. It is dumortierite and argonite (cave calcite) hand knotted with silk. I am very happy with the combo. The argonite glows. I saw some of this stone in a cave in Mexico once.
This is badass: Medieval Nubian Fashion Brought to Life. Click through to the link because there’s more replica clothing and it is all stunning!
Weefgetouwen voor kaartweven
Er zijn vele manieren om te kaartweven. Zo lang er maar spanning staat op de kettingdraden. Men kan horizontaal weven maar ook verticaal.
A historical overview of types of looms. I like the manuscript illuminations they dug up.

Since 2015 shoe designer, Philippe Model, has also been putting his sensitivity for the harmonies of color to good use by re-interpreting the typically French rattan café furniture...to date he has created over 6000 different "harmonies".

Aaand Alexandra of Novgorod's belt is done!!
Now on to the sash to wear over the coat and which I will post soonish and the woolen over tunic.
my (talented) mom did the stitching on her sewing machine while I ironed and pinned, she’s so happy with how they turned out and is giving them out tomorrow :)
after washing and drying, I cut with a rotary cutter at 25 inches, after hemming they measured 16x23 each. I’m happy with these! my third set of tea towels so far, and I genuinely see improvement each time!
Nurture - Handwoven Green Hoodie Poncho
Stay fluffy, friends!
I finished my rainbow cowl! This one has been sitting 95% done for over a month, just waiting for my fringe twister to return from the war.
I'm super proud of the cross here, it's the crispest one with the most even tension I've made yet! This is 100% acrylic, mostly secondhand from the local thrifts. It'll be up for sale when I build my new storefront!
Edit: SOLD! Check out the rest of my merch on my GoImagine!
Latest project/experiment: A little purse made from woven bands that I stitched together.
Originally, this post was going to go way in depth about how this project is so different from the original design, and was going to make disclaimers about every little flaw that probably only I see.
But then I took a step back and thought about how fricking cool it is that I just *made fabric* and then *made it into an actual little thing*.
It’s my first time trying something like this, and I think my perfectionism was really getting to me, but I’m quite proud of my slightly-wonky pouch, even if it’s not exactly what I’d hoped it would be.
I don’t know what I’ll use it for, though…
Anni Albers (1899–1994) was one of the most influential textile designers of the 20th century and a central figure in modern Bauhaus weaving. Her work transformed fabric into structure, rhythm and architectural surface.
