I tagged my St. Agatha dysphoria post as #queerchristian and they commented that I should amend it to Catholic. I noted that Christian is an umbrella term and that some Protestants honor the saints; and they commented with this?

Some people don’t believe Catholics are real Christians, even tho they fonded the very first church. I have had more than my fair share of people telling me they are worse than witches and even outright Pagan.  But from this ramble, I suspect this person thinks you need to burn for being Trans and for invoke a saint. personally i would block them then delete their shitty comments.

I’ve been having Witchcraft message dreams for days in a row, and I mean like hardcore ones. Ones with Mother Goddesses and Crone Goddesses leading me in rituals. Owls, Foxes and this big ass bird I don’t know it is but it made my very blood sing. Then today as i was with a few UU friends dropping off social justice stuff, Laurie leans over “You know a Witchcraft shop opened right there in the summer,right?” I said no and she told me to go check it out while our other friend snagged some lottos. Peeps, I was in tears. I swore I was so emotional standing in this shop. This shop wasn’t new age. This shop was 100% Witchcraft. The vib, the smell, even the lady behind the counter. I swore I could be standing in Salem, Mass and not just the city over the bridge. Even now, I swear I’m gonna cry. She made me want scream “ I am a mother fucking Witch!” and made me wanna go buy new books on Witchcraft, maybe even a tarot deck,ect. I haven’t felt THAT magick in 3 or more years. Since Nov 2016 I’ve been having a really hard time with my beliefs. I just wanna go back there RIGHT now and ask if I can lay down on her floor and just soak it all in. As soon as it’s Ostara, I’m gonna be walking into the city more. I want to be braver and get over my fears. She will be one of the first places I go to once that happens. I swear The Goddess is so alive in the city next to me with all those immigrant melting pots. I swear there is a song if you walk slow and take it all in. I’m almost home sick for that vib already.

Paper Kite acquires Moxie movie rights

Calling all riot grrrls! Movie rights to Jennifer Mathieu’s upcoming novel Moxie sold to Paper Kite, Amy Poehler’s production banner.

In Moxie, Vivian Carter is fed up. Fed up with sexist dress codes, her strict Texan school administration, and fed up with being a good girl who always follows the rules. Inspired by her mom’s Riot Grrrl past, she creates a feminist zine that sparks a revolution.

Paper Kite produces Hulu’s “Difficult People” and “Broad City” on Comedy Central. The Moxie movie is repped by 3 Arts Entertainment, WME and Warren Dern with a deal at Universal.
