"The Day You   Wrote Me     That Poem"
The day    you wrote  me    that     poem the moon was swell and the ocean appeared   like waterf           a            l             l             s
and fell as    raind       r     o    p   s on this paper.
The day you    wrote me   that poem I felt a huge  and heavy movement in my   heart like the continental drift  had begun once more to puzzle America and Africa back together.
Don't feel so        f   a   r away from     m      e. To me, you were always justthisclose.
And sometimes it's contradicting    how it makes me        euphoric       just thinking about your eyes, the way you look   at me, your smile,   and how your words embrace me   on the past few days where the nights and even the days have gotten so cold and how you say     my name     to stop me from crying.
And how you say my     name to stop me from crying. . . it makes me    wonder how you say someone else's    name. . . I start      w e e p            i n g. . .  If I could teach you    another language,    there would be no other names  and then I'll kiss you      every time     so you won't ever forget mine. . .
Sometimes I get    the urge    to tell the   world how   much I love     you,   but you are   my world    and it's  enough that     you    know.
I  am  only  as imperfect   and maybe a little crazier than anyone else in this world, and I̶ ̶h̶o̶p̶e̶ and I know   you get    me,   please don't ever get     exhausted because I know sometimes  relationships can get exhausting but our love will keep me   ...running and I hope you run    with me forever...
