@quiet-comprehending
common advice for social anxiety is to tell yourself "people aren't going to think less of you just because you said something a bit daft" but the thing is. sometimes they will. and you just have to learn to be cool with that and to treat it as a dnd random encounter rather than letting it ruin your whole day
recent example. lady at my careers appointment had a post-it with her name on it stuck to the monitor, so i introduced myself by saying "hello, i'm eliot! you must be [name], it's nice to meet you!" and she stared at me as if i was the stupidest person alive and said icily, "yeah, i'm [name]. congratulations, you can read."
in bygone times this would have reduced me to a sort of quivering blancmange. thankfully i am now in a place where i was able to pull back, calmly evaluate this interaction, and say to myself "this woman should probably not be working in a customer-facing job"
important additions!!!!
i just know there was a weird little girl in the middle ages out there stealing snake's eggs and putting them in her family's chicken coop in the hope of hatching a basilisk
god i love the internet because if i said shit like this to people irl they'd probably just stare at me blankly but when i post it online everyone in the notes reacts like this
I really love when cats use their front legs to hold something in place while they use their back legs to kick the absolute shit out of it
Destruction. Annihilation, even
Hello. Since I've seen people submit finished wheels, I thought I'd submit a wheel I came up with. In this case, it's a wheel to tell you something that you can't do for a week.
https://wheelofnames.com/kch-gkt
this is a really really cool idea! Thanks!!!
You can't do this for a week!
How bad is this for you?
Its great! I can live with this
I already don't do this
It'll be annoying but I'll be fine
VERY BAD.

thank you Slenderman! can I wear earplugs? the static is a bit overstimulating
yes you can đ
I love you Slenderman. can you kill my boss.
i love you too and i cant leave my forest but if you send your boss over to me i can probably arrange something
writing style: author from the 1800s with a severe love of commas whose sentences last half a pageÂ
I came out here, to this point, to this place, hoping against all hope and despite signs and portends suggesting otherwise that I might, somehow, find myself having a pleasant experience, and yet here I stand, alone against the world, feeling assaulted, attacked on all fronts, knowing not my enemyâs name nor his face nor whether our battle is done.
âŚ.is that âI came here to have a good time and Iâm honestly feeling so attacked right nowâ but by Oscar Wilde
>âthis thing is too generic and tropeyâ
>look inside
>forefather of that genre
Hey all, while we're busy normalizing women with hairy legs, hairy armpits and bushy pubes, let's also normalize women with hairy upper lips, hairy chins, hairy side burns, hairy chests, and all the other places where women are supposedly magically hair-free.
thereâs a lot of life to live at 8 years old but bruce didn't find that out until he was 24 and met another 8 year old who he believed should live a long and wonderful life
