It's vernal equinox, my loves. It is *spring*. And in Boston we're around 2-3 weeks from the first hepatica (Anemone americana) peeking open. Here are some from last year to hold us over. March 20, 2019

A new one for me from the salt marsh. Sweet-Scented Camphorweed (Pluchea odorata). As you’d guess from the name, it smells divine. I couldn’t stop sniffing savoring it.
