ENTJ vs ISFJ
ENTJ- Oh I pick my battles alright, it just so happens that it’s every single one of them.
ISFJ- Hey I pick my battles too, I just seem to pick none of them.

Fighting
ISTJ and I (INTJ) got in a fight today over me wanting to move the mouthwash bottles to the otherside of the sink.
My argument was that they are in the way of the outlet and it catches my straightener cord and put toothpaste is on the other side of the sink already.
His argument was that they have always been in that spot.
German National Anthem
In a Hobby Lobby in practically Canada Upstate NY.
INTJ- are they playing the German National Anthem?
ESFP- I have no idea what their anthem sounds like.
*Plays the anthem on phone*
INTJ- See I was right, it is it. Why would they play the German National Anthem in a craft store in America?
ESFP- I think the better question is, why do you know the German National Anthem off the top of your head? You’ve never even been there and I lived there for 3 years and I don’t know it
INTJ- my mind is a scary placed filled with a lot of information that You have called useless, yet I seem to find uses for.
INTJ in Being Weird
ISTJ- Stop being weird and go to sleep, I have to work in the morning.
INTJ- Weird is my default. You knew this when we got married.
ISTJ Quote
“I don’t smile, smiling hurts my face.”
ADHD Sensory Problem
I work a lot better if I listen to fast and upbeat music when I work.
So I use my headphones a lot.
But most annoying issue, I can’t handle the feeling of the soft tipped headphones in my ear. It’s make me super uncomfortable and I just feel an awful full feeling in my ears.
The only headphones I have found so far that I like are the Apple ones. And of course they are expensive since of course I lose my headphones all the time.
ADHD thing?
I’ve noticed that slow music can set off either my sensory overload or my anxiety disorder.
Slower music makes my heart race (in a bad way). But faster and heavier music (like punk or heavy rock) tend to help calm me down.
Luck?
ESFP- INTJ i got some scratch off tickets. You are normally really lucky with these. Do you us quarters or pennies?
INTJ- I normally use dimes.
ESFP- I only have quarters and pennies!
INTJ- Well if those are your only choices, I’d pick the quarter. Quarters and dimes have beveled edges so they are better for scratching off the cards.
ESFP- I meant which were more lucky! Of course you’d give me the practical answer!
The INTJ choosing to answer the door. 😂
So if like, all the INTJs decided to squad up, do you think they could like, create massive change in the world? Like is world domination all you guys think about?
So my best friends are an INTJ and an INFJ, and as an INTJ myself, you came to the right place for this question.
I think it may be a bit dangerous to let the world only be ruled by INTJs. We would implement massive changes, but I feel like we wouldn’t focus on things that most people would expect to be the biggest changes. Like we would try and correct the big issues like the economy and healthcare, but I think that there would be a lot of what most people would think would be random dramatic changes or weirdly specific laws to fix things that bother us on individual levels.
Also I don’t know if all INTJs think this way, but I tend to be sacrifice a few to save the many type of philosophy based, so that may be something to worry about perhaps. The really good thing though is that every INTJ I have ever met have been very open to people living different lifestyles or being different than us. So, we would choose to remove a lot of political and governmental laws that limit people’s choices. There would be no rules against any religions or sexual orientations or gender preferences. As we would most likely feel like it would be a waste of our time to regulate people’s lives, and we wouldn’t see a reason to become involved on that much of a personal level.
Now on to the world domination;
Before I even knew about MBTI, in high school, INTJ, INFJ, and I had already made plans for what we would do, if we actually took over the world. Like I was the one in charge, and INTJ would be my right hand woman and in charge of my military, police, and environmental issues. INFJ, had healthcare, education, and social services.
We still talk about our plans sometimes. We have added ESFP as the figure head and public front man, basically our PR person, who we would withhold as much info from as possible, because she talks to much sometimes and might stand in our way if she disagrees. Also my ISTJ husband has taken over police, emergency services, and environmental. Because I mean lets face it, I will need a lot of INTJs time for military and planning.
At my Bachorlette party, we were jokingly talking about them scoping out our lair and headquarters for our plans, since INTJ went to Africa for half the year for animal conservation as she is a zookeeper, and INFJ was in the Peace Corps so she traveled a lot of the US for a year.
But It is not all we think about I promise, and honestly I don’t think I really would want to deal with the bullshit that would be involved with ruling the world. It is just a fun mental exercise.
Introverts VS Extroverts
Something I have noticed recently, is that almost every Introvert I’ve ever gotten to know, myself also included, talk to themselves out loud a lot.
Yet, I have to say there has not been anytime that I can recall of that an Extrovert has done this.
I don’t know if it is because an Extrovert is more likely to direct their thoughts to other people. At work the 3 introverts on my side of the office, will talk themselves through figuring something out or make comments directly to themselves like I heard ISTP say “Come on ISTP, get your shit together, I have way too much shit to do” to himself.
I just find it weird that Introverts use an external way to communicate with themselves often, while Extrovert don’t feel the need to do that.
Now that I am thinking about it, it also seems to be more of a I*T* thing too, the I*F* coworkers don’t do this nearly as much.
We moved desks around at work, so a new Extrovert is in our group of offices, and he has already asked ESFP if ISTJ and I (INTJ), were talking to him or not. She told him “They always do this, don’t worry, they are talking to themselves and don’t expect nor do they really want us to respond. It took some getting use to, but its quite endearing”
ESFP Really Thinks she can Out Wit me
We do a secret buddy gift exchange through Tax season at work. Due to my natural hatred of surprises and not knowing things, and my love of figuring out puzzles and challenges. I have already figured out 21 out of 24 who has who. ESFP knows that I know who has her, but she told me to never tell her, it would ruin it. So I won't.
Little does she know that I have an ESFP mother, who has been trying to get info like this out of me. I have literally have been training for this my whole life.
So know she thinks she has her person figured out, and she is so wrong. And I smiled when she came to her conclusion, so know she thinks it means she is right and that I am just screwing with her when I give her any info contradictory to it.
ISFJ knows who has her and she has even tried to throw her a bone and gave her the hint that her premise of her decision is wrong, and she is still super confident in her answer.
She still keeps asking what she thinks is sublte questions to get me to trip up and tell her, but it is so obvious to me that I love to give her wrong answers just to screw with her.
This is going to be a fun tax season of me messing with her and constantly making her doubt who has her.
Emotionally Unavailable
So I started seeing a therapist for my PTSD. After just 1 sessions she has decided that I am :
1. Emotionally Unavailable
2. Use Avoidance Methods as a way to handle my Emotions
3. I help other people during stressful or emotional times to avoid dealing with my own emotions.
4. I struggle with emotional intimacy with those close to me.
5. Emotions are not something that you can rationalize. (I do actually realize this, and this is why #2 above happens.)
And I over here like: How dare you suggest that I, an INTJ, would avoid emotions my own emotion and have a hard time expressing my emotions. I have never been accused of such a thing in my entire life. Its not like I had an ESFP mother and INFP sister who like to point out my seemingly lack of emotions, or anything.
I mean come one, INTJs are totally known as the most emotionally expressive people.
Umm you male or female? I've just not been anle to figure out tbh 🙈
I’m Female.

Quickest Way to Tell the Difference Between an INTJ and an ISTJ
Ask them how they feel about change.
If they react very negative and would rather stick with what they know...it’s an ISTJ
If they are ok with MOST changes and think they necessary to improve... it’s an INTJ
HOW TO PISS OFF AN INTJ:
Writing this post made me mad. Urgh.
Interrupt them while they’re reading.
Insist on speaking to them when they’re trying to get alone time.
Get in the middle of their plans.
Make anticipated assumptions that have no logical baselines.
Underestimate their intelligence or capability.
Talk down to them.
Call them without warning.
Be persistently ignorant.
Make emotionally driven decisions when something requires rational decisions.
Be close-minded.
TWO WORDS: SURPRISE. PARTIES.
Try to get them caught up in small talk.
Be overly emotional with no clear reason.
Be blindly obedient of authority. (“Dare to question things! Think freely!”)
Be unreliable.
