Heyyyyyyy! I’m back... again. ✌️
Anyway, I just wanted to put it out there that I’m a massive multishipper and I basically ship everyone. I LOVE EVERY SINGLE RAREPAIR AND POPULAR SHIP ALIKE.
Okay, maybe not "love" in the literal sense for every single one, but I seriously do not get the anti-energy toward certain ships. Also, ship wars? Literally why. Can people just let others live? Why can’t we just accept that a ship doesn’t have to be canon or follow "canon rules"? Like, headcanons can be literally whatever you want regardless of the source material!
Give me any pairing and the absolute worst thing I’ll say is "eh, I prefer something else" — that’s it.
Maybe it’s because I’m bi, but I also don’t get why characters can’t have different orientations than their canon ones in HC? Like, what’s the issue with headcanoning a canon lesbian character as straight or bi? It works both ways! I don't really care about the discourse around representation, I’m just here for the vibes and the content. I'm not forcing my HCs on anyone, so why stress?
Take The Owl House by Dana Terrace, for example. Amity is a canon lesbian. BUT, I actually think Amity and Hunter look cute together. At the same time, I still adore Lumity and I also love Lunter—without even making them a polycule. Just... as separate ship! And I have so many examples like this across different fandoms.
Maybe it’s just the multishipper brainrot, but in my headcanons, gender and labels honestly don't have any weight. To me, they’re just characters who have preferences in personality or looks, but it’s more like "it’d be cool if it was like this, but if not, whatever."
Maybe I’m just uneducated or whatever, but I truly don’t get having a strict preference for only men or only women. My HCs and my OCs all feel the same way.
Just love each other, be kind, and stop the discourse... let’s just all get along. ♡
p.s. just a heads up, I used AI to translate this because my English is basically non-existent, so some of my thoughts might’ve been lost in translation. 💀
Again, I’m not forcing my opinions on anyone! Everyone has the right to do whatever they want, as long as it’s not causing actual harm or leading to harassment/bullying of a specific person or community. Your freedom ends where someone else’s begins. ✌️✨
