Behind Oak Doors
(Part 4)
Tulip handed Varia a bag for her previous clothes to be placed in as she looked herself over once more in the mirror. It wasn't hard to see some conflicting feelings flickering not only in Varia’s eyes, but in her posture as well. Whiskey could tell she wanted to look and feel attractive but there was something holding her back, he just couldn't place why someone would deny themselves any kind of confidence. He smiled playfully as he took hold of Varia’s hand and placed it on his arm like before, seeming happy to be her escort back to the lounge.
“Wait, I still need to pay for...”
“Don’t worry about it. Since your grandma donated them, it's no cost to give them back to you. Before you try to argue, trust me I can see it on your face, I’m the boss bitch in this shop and I’m saying it's good. I;m not gonna fire myself for helping a girl feel like she's dressed for the night. Now, go have a good one, and if Whisk here gives you any kind of crap, you let me know.”
Varia smiled genuinely, waving in gratitude to Tulip as Whiskey led her out of the store and back down the street. Whiskey walked with the same natural confidence he had before, but soon shifted his bravado into something softer. He moved his arm from the gentleman's hold to placing his hand around Varia’s shoulders comfortingly.
“You don't have to go to the lounge if you're not comfortable, you know. I can call you a new cab and..”
“No no, the lounge isn't why I’m nervous. I just.”
Her thoughts trailed for a minute as they arrived outside those tall wooden doors. The grain pattern almost seeming to move like a mockery of sophistication while Varia could feel her own mental shadows calling her a try hard and fake, not fitting into such a place. She felt his hend tighten gently on her shoulder, her own hand seeming to rest on his instinctually before seeming to snap back into reality.
“It might be for the best that you not walk in with me. My friends might have heart attacks if I showed up with a guy out of nowhere.”
“Are your friends the jealous types?”
His voice held a taunting nature as he ignored her comment and opened the doors to lead her inside. Beyond those doors, high vaulted ceilings with warm lights, floors of the same dark wood as the entrance stretched deeper than the building looked like it should be. The music flowed with simple ambiance instead of the usual pounding bases common in clubs. The place felt both calm and electric all at the same time, some having people interact quietly, other groups were loud and entertained, even a few people walking toward what looked like reserved party rooms with smiles wide and relaxed. Varia’s gaze roamed a bit more before finally seeing her friends at a table near the bar, Lana having a guy seemingly doting on her with wine bottle in hand, while Devi was in the lap of one throwing back a shot.
Devi was the first to notice Varia, and began waving her over playfully toward her. Devi’s sudden motion got Lana’s attention, her gaze seeming to freeze on Whiskey for a moment before looking at Varia, a half smile on her lips as she took another sip of wine from her glass.
“Girl you made it, why you wearing a suit though and not a dress or even a skirt? You know, looking ready to party.”
“Devi, be nice, she looks cute. Don't listen to her V, she’s already a few shots in for the night. Glad you found something you liked, and you even found a toy for yourself that's fun, isn't it Merlo?”
Lana’s voice was playful yet dismissive as she looked from Varia to the guy beside her, resting her hand on his face like a queen taunting a servant. Merlo nodded almost hypnotically to her words and her touch before looking at the mentioned friend and freezing. His eyes locked with Whiskey’s before he moved to sit straighter beside Lana.
“Mister Whiskey, sir.. Um I’m sorry where these girls upgraded to your clients? I swear I didn't mean to..”
“No Merlo, they weren’t assigned to me tonight, though seeing as these lovely ladies all seem to have some company, perhaps I can join so Miss Varia isn't singled out.”
Whiskey’s voice was carefree as he spoke, pulling back a chair first for Varia, then himself beside her. Devi and Lana exchanged a small glance to each other before continuing to talk as if no interruptions happened. The two reminisced of vacation trips and parties they went to, once in a while giving small apologies to Varia about her missing the fun for work. Varia would tell them it was fine and they shouldn't feel bad talking about fun times. Drink by drink, hour by hour the night rolled from stories and gossips to slurred flirting with anyone who would listen. Devi was bouncing from one guy to the next, treating the lounge like a body shot bar and embracing every bit of the attention. Lana was acting pouty and shameless calling to Merlo for attention and demanding he stay with her not just here but to go to her apartment after.
“Are you sure you’re actually having a good time here? You seem more concerned about your friends than you are about your own relaxation.”
“Its mostly just a habit, I’m not a big drinker so I don't really cut loose like they do, and I wanna make sure I can remember everyone getting home safe.”
“Answer me honestly, these two are too smashed and… distracted, to pay attention to what you say anyway. So I do mean answer me honestly, when was the last time you got to have fun instead of being responsible?”
Varia looked at her friends before lowering her head slightly with a small, embarrassed shrug, her eyes locking with her drink glass instead of anyone else. She could feel Whiskey watching her closely, he was polite enough to keep space as she tried to process an answer but not really finding one. Whiskey took in every minute movement, the way her breath caught, the tension becoming nerves as she began fidgeting with her drink. He could practically see the guilt, shame and uncertainty plastered to her face with every small flicker of her eyes.
“It’s been a while.”
“If I can be truly honest, I don't know how much I should really say to someone I just met. But… yeah, it's been more than just a while I don't really know what's fun or not anymore. I work, I go home, I survive.”
“How about this, come back here next time you need a break and I’ll give you a better tour of the place? Think on it for a bit before answering, I’m going to ring up your group’s ticket for closing. It's amazing how time flies in good company.”
Whiskey stood up and charmed his way around the table collecting cards from Devi and Lana and heading to the register. As the other men around the table took the hint, they all began to walk their separate ways and finish off their own night, leaving the girls to themselves. Lana gave a flirty wave to Merlo as he walked to stand with Whiskey, before turning her attention back to Varia with a look of annoyance on her face.
“Thanks for the warning by the way.”
“Wait, what warning?”
“Exactly, Devi and I were waiting politely for you to come back, and you pick up some synth rando on the street? If you wanted to bring a date you should have said something, we were gonna have girl night remember.”
“Lana, you and Devi both had boyfriends at the table when I showed up, and Whiskey isn't a date, he works here too.”
“Lana and I were gonna send those guys away for us girls to chat after you showed up. But since your bot invited himself we couldn't suddenly send them away, it would have been super rude. We felt blindsided and trapped with that V.”
“I’m sorry you two, I didn't know he was going to sit too. I swear.”
Lana and Devi looked at each other, a small smirk creeping on their lips before they leaned close and gave lazy side hugs to Varia.
“Oh, we can't stay mad at you. You’re like a kid, you don't get out much anymore to know better.”
“How about this, you go get our cards for us, and we’ll get the cab ready to take us all home. I think I’m more than ready to get out of here. Hey Merlo! Come walk me out, I know you're off the clock boy toy.”
Voices like honey over rose thorns as they talked to Varia, before Lana’s voice hollers over everyone to the guys at the till. Merlo looked at Lana then Whiskey, before heading to her side and picking her up gently to carry her out like a treasure with Devi stumbling close behind. Varia let out a sigh before walking to the bar top and taking a seat near the till, resting her head in her hands as she shakes her head in frustration.
“They really do just leave you behind a lot, I hope Merlo is getting another card for their tab and not just letting them leave.”
“Let me guess, both of their cards declined.”
Varia’s voice was already hollow as she reached into her pocket and pulled out her wallet. The annoyance was obvious in her movements as she flipped through a few cards to pull one out and set it on the counter. Whiskey looked at the card for a moment before taking it and turning his posture back to the register, his eyes however kept watching Varia as he could see her transition from upset to defeated with the situation in barely any time.
“Can I get a receipt for the whole tab please. I can talk to the girls later about paying me back if I have actual numbers to show.”
“You and I both know you’re not going to have them repay you. You don't have to keep being around people who don't appreciate you as a person you know.”
“They do, they just…”
“I’ve only met you a few hours ago and I saw you get left behind twice, left out of the banter and inside jokes, about to sit alone at a full table, and now you’re picking up the check. Did I miss anything?”
“Theyre good people, they just kinda forget its not easy for me to keep up.”
“At the risk of upsetting you, can I be honest?”
Varia looked at Whiskey as he leaned on the counter, handing her card back and reaching under the counter to grab a coat and western hat, slinging the coat over his shoulder and placing the hat on his head as he walked around the bar to her side.
“You have friends in their thirties trying to act like they’re still college girls without a care in the world living off someone else's money, while you are being responsible and respectful. What do you get out of this friendship?”
Varia looked at him for a moment, feeling her cheeks go hot, not sure if it was anger or embarrassment at being called out with her situation. She had already been questioning herself about her stance with them, but knowing a stranger could see the proof in plain sight she could feel a piece of her break, knowing she couldn't keep up the denial. She lowered her head as she began to walk to the door, Whiskey beside her each step of the way. He could see it all but wanted to let her keep what pride she had and not push her further. Whiskey was well aware how a truth like that could leave you one thread pull from unraveling and didn't want to be the one to make her cry, especially in a public setting. He opened the door and froze along side Varia, the two watching in disbelief as they saw Devi, Lana and Merlo closing the cab door and drive off with Devi hollering out the window in a tipsy joy as they all waved at Varia as they vanished down the street.
Whiskey didn’t hesitate before pulling off his hat and placing it on Varia’s head, the size helped hide her face from the world that just seemed to shatter in an instant. He wasn't a fan of being right in situations like these, but it was hard to ignore when every sensor he had told him this was inevitable. Varia didn’t argue the makeshift shield of his hat as her eyes were still locked with the memory of the car just leaving without her. She could feel a new kind of cold sinking in as the burn of fresh tears began fighting to fall from her eyes.
Behind Oak Doors
(Part 3)
A smile grew on his lips as he looked the girl up and down for a moment, it was rare to see someone sober mouth off to a synth like him, let alone a girl so small with zero hesitation or fear in her eyes.
“Allow me to introduce myself, I’m called Whiskey, I work here.”
“Oh shit, I’m sorry I.”
“No, you had the right kind of mentality, I did eavesdrop without permission, and make assumptions on customers. So in exchange why don't I escort you on your errand, I’ll even offer you a round my treat for the inconvenience.”
Varia didn’t have a chance to think let alone reply before this large robotic man from the shadows took her hand to his arm and walked with her like a gentleman down the street in the direction of the store mentioned. He kept his pace relaxed, easy to keep up with for Varia’s shorter legs, and he walked with a confidence that almost felt contagious to her at the same time, her own posture straightening and head high like it was something natural to her.
“Why are you doing this?”
Her voice seemed small suddenly compared to the sass she spat just a bit ago, catching Whiskey off guard for a moment. He was used to women just accepting his attention, so a question like that actually gave him pause for a moment.
“Honest answer, you looked like you were having a day, and if your friends didn't want to join you to help it get better, I thought I might. Besides, if you’re going to be coming into the Virsho Rue lounge as a customer, the least I can do is help you find an outfit to dress the part. This shop was actually opened by the same owner as the lounge.”
“Wait, so your boss owns a lounge and a clothing boutique?”
Varia was skeptical a bar owner would have any idea about what clothing would be appropriate for public spaces, as she looked at Whiskey a bit, noticing he wore a simple slack and button shirt, not even a classy one, she could only picture outfits like her friends had one. Ones that desired attention, were revealing and worst of all made for the super thin and perfectly figured. As he opened the door to let her walk through, Varia’s gaze shifted over the selections surrounding her. There were styles of all types here, ranging from high class gowns, to punk rave style that covered nothing, to simple sun dresses and so on.
“Tulip, you in here? I have a new one here for a fitting.”
Whiskey’s voice called through the store with ease before he walked to a chair near some dressing rooms and took a seat, watching Varia with a grin. Varia watched as he made himself comfortable before looking around to try to spot who he was calling out to. It doesnt take long before a curvy woman walks up from the back of the store, heading straight at Whiskey with her hands on her hips and a stare to peirce metal.
“The heck you doin here Whisk, you’re supposed to me at the lounge working. I swear to silks if you dragged another damn princess treatment girl in here to do a ‘dream fashion show’ I am gonna..”
“Relax Tulip, I’m not here for anything like that. This young woman however, does need assistance in finding something to wear to the lounge. She has friends there she's supposed to meet up with.”
Whiskey’s voice wavered slightly at the mention of friends, catching Tulip’s attention before she looked behind her to see Varia standing alone. Tulip looked back at him with a raised brow for a moment, hoping to get more information but seeming to understand better when Whiskey’s gaze looked her up and down slowly before giving a strained smirk.
“Ah, say no more. Alright girl, come on over here and let me get a look at you. My name is Tulip, I’ll be your consultant today. Tell me a bit about yourself.”
“Well, I’m Varia Calla and there’s not much to me really.. Sad to say I'm fairly basic.”
“Wait, your last name is Calla? You don't happen to know a Liana Calla by chance do you or a Jewlieta Calla?”
“Liana is my grandmother, is she a frequent shopper here?”
“She does like to visit quite a bit, actually she donated a nice collection of dresses just a few weeks ago. Let me get them real quick, if they belonged to family there's a better chance they’ll suit you perfectly.”
Tulip guided Varia toward the dressing room and had her step inside to wait, a small smack sound was heard outside the curtains as well as rushed whisper before the sound of footsteps faded back.
“You’re really Lia’s grandkid?”
Whiskey’s voice was cautious to the question but the curiosity was too strong to ignore. He had known the woman had family but to suddenly meet a member and take her shopping wasn't something he had prepared for.
“Yeah, she can be a bit of a wild card sometimes. I’m so sorry if she ever gave you trouble or talked your ear off. I haven't been able to visit her for a while so I'm sure she got lonely and.”
“Oh no, you don't need to apologize for her, trust me she exploits discounts all too well to be any real trouble, but you are right that she loves to talk.”
“I just hope she’s not spending too much money on that lounge of yours… no offense, but her retirement funds still have to help maintain her house and I don't wanna see her lose it.”
Whiskey had to bite back a laugh, grateful to be out of sight at this moment. Thinking it wouldn't be charming of him to laugh at someone’s eccentric grandmother when attempting to make them a customer. His eyes caught movement down the aisle of the shop to rest his gaze on Tulip returning with a few items in her arms.
“Alright I’m back, now here’s a few things to get you started, let me know if its not working and you need some tailoring alright.”
“Y..yeah. Thank you.”
“You sound nervous, did this guy say anything to you I swear if he did.”
“We were simply talking about her Lia being a fun customer, that's all. Though I still think all her discounts take away from that title.”
Whiskey’s voice was playful as he looked at Tupil, giving a mischievous smile as his gaze moved back to the dressing room curtain. Tulip looked at him for a minute before smiling softly and shaking her head at him. They waited patiently as the gentle sounds of fabric shuffled behind the curtains, Tulip walking off from time to time to assist new customers as they came in to look around, or to grab new sized items to give Varia to try better. Varia could feel her own anxiety rising, knowing she was keeping not only her friends waiting on her, but now two new people she had just met. She could swear her tension was almost becoming a solid mass in the air as she heard Whiskey from time to time offer encouraging calm for her to take her time and find what she’s happy with.
After about fifteen minutes of clothing back and forths, the curtain pulled back to show Varia in a pair of black slacks, with a crimson, satin button shirt and back vest. It was simple, classy without being loud, and fit her body well. The red of the shirt complimenting her more olive skin tone without washing her out in any way.
“You look great, this style suits you well.”
“Drop the lounge talk Whisk, the girl looks hot. Hope those friends of yours have a seat with a good view to show you off.”
“Honestly, I hope they don't, looking nice is fine but I’m not a big fan of being seen. Besides, it's supposed to just be a chill night for us to reconnect, so the fewer guy distractions the better.”
Behind Oak Doors
(Part 2)
Varia wasn’t surprised in the least as the car headed to a condo instead of the boutique, the girls decided they didn't want to carry their bags all over town, and might as well change while they were home. A simple request taking another hour and a half to achieve. Lana’s golden waves now held in a tight bun, a deep blue dress holding every form on her body with a slit to show her left thigh to anyone glancing in the general direction. Meanwhile Devi rocked the high ponytail with her pale brunette hair, a red crop top and black mini shirt with matching boots, this girl was not only ready for the male gaze, but was insistent it didn't have to work on imagining anything. Varia could feel a new sinking feeling in her gut as she looked at her friends dressed so well and knowing she was going to have the hardest time attempting to find anything on par to their level.
“Don't look at us like that V, you’re gonna find something that makes you feel sexy too, we just know it.”
“Lana’s right, we just wanted the chance to get as ready as you're gonna be when we get you that perfect outfit.”
“Not to mention, you don't need as much work as we do to get ready. You’re cute so you don't have to spend time on hair and makeup and stuff. You have that natural charm.”
It was barely a breath after finishing getting ready when the three head back out to a hired car and across town to their final destination. The three climb out and wave off the driver before walking down the street a short way, and there it was. The building’s front looked like it was sliced off an old style mansion and slapped on a brick wall, the doors a dark, deep wood that towered the girls in size. The muffled sounds of music could be heard from behind them, but no window in sight to get a sneak peak of what lies beyond. Lana pulled out her compact and checked herself over before reaching for the door only to stop at a small voice clearing.
“Lana, weren’t we gonna check out that shop first?”
Varia’s voice made her tense and hesitate for a moment before a smile came back to her lips.
“Sorry, I just got really excited for a second there. Yeah, let's head over, it should be just on the next block, a really quick trip.”
“If it's that close, then why don't you two go ahead inside and I’ll go find something. You guys can give me a good drink recommendation when I come back. Sound fair?”
Devi and Lana gave Varia quick hugs with excitement before agreeing instantly and heading to the door, giving small call outs not to take too long and they’d be waiting before rushing inside with the thick wood doors closing behind them.
Unbeknownst to Varia, her interaction with her friends didn’t go unnoticed as a tall figure was watching from the alley beside the building.
“Excuse me, miss?”
A deep voice came from behind Varia startling her slightly. She turned to see the origin of the sound from a large figure by the building corner. His gaze like molten amber, clear and holding, taller and broader than most men she’d ever seen before, he looked like leather and brandy personified in his strong jaw and proud features.
“Didn’t mean to startle you, but curious were those friends of yours that just ran off without you?”
His voice was direct but held some concern in his tone as he looked back to the door then to Varia again. He could see he struck a small nerve as her posture changed slightly from passive to firm as she looked him in the eye.
“They didn't run off, I told them to go ahead without me since I still have some errands to run. Besides, isn't it a bit inappropriate to spy on girls you don't know and creeping out of an alley to the only one left alone?”
Behind Oak Doors
(Part 1)
“Come on, you never go out with us anymore.”
“That’s because I can’t afford you both. Last time you two wanted to go out, you maxed out my card because you conveniently forgot to bring your own.”
“You can’t keep holding onto the past like that.”
“It took me two years of saving and taking on side jobs just to pay it off last month. If you guys drag me anywhere I’m not gonna be held responsible.”
“Chill V, we promise you won’t have to pay a cent this time. We swear on it, Lana’s new boy toy works there and is loaded so we get a whole night of privileges.”
“You’re damn right, not really sure what he does at this place, but I’ve heard it’s a really classy ass kind of bar and of course I can’t go without my besties to make sure it’s not suspicious.”
The duo of girls looked at the third with large pleading eyes, hoping to break the resolve of the latter to join in their planned escapades. With a deep sigh the final girl looked at them with a stern expression before pointing a finger at them.
“I’ll go, but if this turns into some shit trip I get to bitch without a guilt trip. Got it?”
The two happily squealed with each other before grabbing the third in a hug smiling widely and with some mischief.
Feeling like thunder took residence in her skull, as the dawn's light leaked in from the window, Varia begrudgingly pulled back her blankets and rose from her bed with a stretch. Her long dark hair draped to her hips as she stood to prepare for her day, her hands rubbing her temples to alleviate the ache of another restless night.
“My first weekend off in months and I’m still waking up early, the fuck is wrong with me?”
Her question hung in the air as she walked to the bathroom and turned on the faucet. The chilled soothing of the cold water on her face was a small pleasure to the pre stress of the day. Varia knew it wouldn't be for a few hours before her friends came to drag her from her small apartment, so these peaceful mornings to herself were always appreciated. A warm shower, a simple breakfast, and sitting with a book in her favorite and only chair in the living room, made her almost forget the planned chaos that was heading her way.
*Knock. Knock. Knock.*
The abrupt sound of the front door pulled Varia from her thoughts and reading before letting out a sigh and standing up to welcome the ravelry. The knob barely has time to turn before two girls push their way inside like a statement. Lana’s blond hair flowed in rolling waves as she looked around the room for a moment and made herself comfortable in the chair. Devi didn’t waste any time before b-liining to the bedroom to snoop and sort potential clothing for the day. Varia could only roll her eyes with a small smile as she watched her friends naturally make themselves at home in the blink of an eye.
“You girls are earlier than I thought you’d be, I didn’t think this place was a day hour kind of business.”
“We wanted to make sure we had enough time to make sure you were dressed for the occasion, or if we needed to go shopping before we go. Told you we were gonna spoil you this time around and we can't do that if you're gonna dress all.”
Lana waved her hand to gesture to all of Varia as she looked over her current loose fit clothing with a smug grin. There was no point arguing with the analysis, they all knew Varia wasn't one to party enough to share the same eye-catching standards as the other two, and that was fine by her. Lana was always made to impress, her image was everything for her growing up, and with a few modeling contracts under her belt no one could blame her wanting to maintain an image. Devi had a love for all things sports that kept her in great shape, and a metabolism to go drink for drink with a lot of partiers that gave her a social edge in making fast friends. Compared to those two, Varia had a habit of looking like an outcast. She was healthy, sure, but not near the size zero or lean tone of the other two, but they all got along anyway.
Devi walked out from the bedroom with a look of disappointment as she walked closer to Varia and placed her hands on her shoulders to playfully shake her.
“Why don't you have any fun clothes anymore?”
“Because I work too much to have fun, you guys know that.”
“I still don't understand why you’d rather work two jobs instead of just dating a rich guy for a while. You don't have to like him, just… fake it until your debts are paid.”
Lana’s voice carried a heavy amount of exhaustion as she stood and joined the other two in the middle of the room.
“Alright, we planned for this. V, get dressed into something to shop in. D and I are taking you to shop with us for something new to wear. I’m gonna call up Gost and see..”
“No Lana, Gost was the last guy with the nice car collection, Merlo is the guy at the place.”
“Right right, gotta fix that, either way I’m going to make sure he has a table for us when we’re all set to arrive. Now, let's hop to it!”
The next three hours went by in a blur of giggles and stores, Lana and Devi embracing the idea of a shopping spree while Varia still couldn't seem to find anything that caught her attention the right way, and that was in a reasonable budget. Store after store, minute by minute, Varia could feel herself growing more nervous and tired as the day kept going. Each shop was bright lights and revealing clothes, crop tops, mini skirts, skin tight pants and sheer blouses.
“Oh V, what about this?”
Devi held up a pleated skirt that looked more like a school uniform than something appropriate for an adult to wear.
“Yeah… I don't think so.”
“Whats wrong with it now?”
“The same thing that was wrong with the last skirt. Its not gonna fit me D, I’ve kinda got bigger hips and.. Yeah”
Devi looked at the skirt again before holding it up to Varia's body and smiling with a small acceptance of her defeat to the suggestion.
“Whoops, yeah no.. there’s definitely not enough fabric on this to cover you right.”
“Most of the shops here are built for smaller figures, so maybe we try someplace new. Oh, there's a new boutique that opened not too far away from the place. Let’s try it out, its bound to have something you’ll like V.”
While the two walked with giddy and gossip to the register to pay and head to the next store, Varia could feel tension build in her back at the frustration of the shopping. She was already prepared for this new shop to be just like all the others, she was grateful her friends always considered her to be just like them, but kinda wished they would understand that she was a bit fuller for the clothes they liked. Devi was the first to finish paying and rejoined Varia by the store entrance, her smile lessened slightly as she took hold of Varia’s hand.
“ I promise, if this last place doesn’t have something for you, I’ll convince Lana to have all three of us dress down and we have a normal bar night instead of this new place. We can just try again next time you have a day off.”
“I don't wanna drag you guys down for the night, you were both so excited for this. I’ll figure out something to wear at this place if it kills me, and if I can't… Well, you two just need to take as many pics as possible to share with me while you have fun.”

I'm currently open for icons if any one was interested. They're small 300x300px headshots for $10 a piece. You can order up to three as long as you don't mind a week or so for turn around. Keep in mind that I do have a full time job and my turn arounds tend fluctuate depending on my energy levels, lol. I'm doing these just for funzies any how.
I can only accept payments through paypal or kofi. Feel free to Dm me if interested.
Can do: DCA's (or any other fnaf animatonics for that matter), Furries, Undertale styled skeletons, chibi styled humans.
I'm still open for these! Feel free to message me if there's any interest. ^^
I have been having a blast learning pixel art and playing with concepts.
Status Update: Pokédex Complete!
Just about three years since I started this project, it's finally done: I've completed the pokédex! Every single pokémon has at least one pattern done. The enthusiasm and support from all of you guys has helped so much, so thank you!
Starting tomorrow, the queue will be popping out four patterns a day. After a brief breather I'll be back to taking requests for shiny patterns, and to share my thoughts on next steps for the Terrarium Project.
See you soon!
Thanks to artfight encouraging me to pick up a pen, I’ve started to love art again.
Pixel art is new to me, but I’m trying hard to learn and it has been more of a positive experience than other art mediums I’ve tried in the past. I look forward to growing this skill and hopefully doing more in the future.

Once again @everyone: REBLOG stuff you like!
And DONT REPOST stuff that’s already here! WHY do we even have to go through this again huh? DON’T. DO. IT.
And if you share something from a different platform that isn’t on tumblr already you ASK the creator for permission and then give CREDIT!
reblog, don’t repost, this
Terminology reminder: reblogging is Tumblr’s in-site sharing system but REPOSTING is saving a picture from a post and then making your own post
I have seen genuine confusion about this in the past (largely from ppl more used to other sites that don’t have a reblog system) that’s the only reason I’m adding the explanation
Yeah okay, I’ll reblog that!
