"hello friend! it is the morning!"
Watch, print, save, share! At http://www.mooglyblog.com/tall-crochet-stitches/
I didnât even know some of these stitches existed!
This is an amazing stitch!! Â I was stunned when I stumbled upon it. Â About to try it out for myself. Â Love.
Thereâs a detailed photo-tutorial for how to master this new stitch via the Russian website Troichina.  You can use Google Translate to help, or just work your way through the pics and accompanying chart.

Learn to Crochet! Crochet Gif Tutorials: Star Stitch
This is a tutorial in 4 parts:
Part 1: Row 1, First Star Part 2: Subsequent Stars Part 3: Row 2 Part 4: Row 3
The star stitch requires prior knowledge of the half double crochet (hdc) stitch.Â
How many chains should I make to begin? Crochet - one example of a âreal-worldâ application of algebra! (Sorry!) Chain: 2 x (the number of stars you wish to make), + 4 extra chains. e.g. for a row of 5 stars, 2(5)+4 = 14 chains.Â
Note: you donât have to begin with a chain! To start a row of star stitches mid-way through a project, skip straight to part 4.Â
There are several variations on the star stitch. If you look at another tutorial and compare it to this one, youâll probably find differences. This is the way I like to do it - but feel free to play around!
Itâs been a long time since Iâve posted! Hereâs what Iâve made.
Make this beautiful crochet circle wrap
Sill Level: Intermediate Sizes: S/M (For Large, work with 2 strands, inc hooks sizes accordingly to increase gauge)
Materials: Rowan Felted Tweed, DK, 191 yards, 50g, (1600 yards total), Crochet hook sizes H and I
Notes: May be worked in one solid color or up to 3 colors. Color changes are suggestions. You may switch colors on any round you like. Sleeves are optional. Garment is worked in one large flat circle with slits for armholes. No instructions are given for incâs after the first 3 rounds. Inc often enough to keep work flat. To avoid âpointsâ in the work, do no inc directly over a previous increase. Crochet fairly loose for a good give and fit.

Why are all of my commissions for Minecraft-themed cubes? I donât know, but so far they have been, so hereâs another. This oneâs a grass block! The most exciting of all blocks!
By the ways, if you want to own something geeky and made out of yarn, hit me up for that, yo. I take orders.Â
Also, I just realized that âMinecraft-themed cubesâ is redundant.Â
