I think I just had my very own Homestuck cosplayers are stupid, and don’t know how to cosplay without causing some sort of bodily harm moment. 

First, to address something, I haven’t been active on this blog in a while since my interests have moved on from yugioh gx, so that’s why I’ve been inactive for a while. Second, through a series of tragic events, I have read over half of Homestuck, my actual first mistake; my second was wanting to cosplay Gamzee, the capricorn troll.

 So, I start with the horns, and I would have made them with clay, or regular paper mache, but I had neither clay, nor glue. Instead I try to use expired flour, water, and paper, and crushed it all together so it turned into one chewed up, homogeneous glop. Then, shaped it onto my tin foil base and let it dry, eventually I got impatient and instead of letting it dry fully, I let it get to a point of being semi dry, and decided to put a layer of masking tape over the MOIST FUCKING PAPER. A few days later I decided to abandon my Gamzee cosplay in favor for Aranea, I also feel my nose is getting stuffier, and felling just a bit more sick than usual, but I shrug it off.

Like, more than a week goes by, and while checking out my Gamzee horns again, reflecting on what I could have done differently, I peeled back the tape and started freaking out because I left moldy horns in my room for over a week.

I fucking can't rewatch yugioh gx episodes, because I just end up breaking down into tears. Tell me why, I go to rewatch the stupid season 1 episode where Jaden gets held hostage by pirate for a week,(3 days in the original) expecting it to be goofy goofs just to be shot 27 times.

Before Jaden got kidnapped, Sy got into an argument with Jaden over their room arrangement (fried shrimp in the original), they ended up not boarding the submarine with him, because they felt bad, then just sat on the dock waiting for him to come home, and when Jaden comes home in a broken ship that caught a small fire, Sy forgets the fact she can't swim, (she does this like twice) and jumps into the water with tears in her eyes trying to save him(Sy is a global treasure we NEED to protect). Can you image how terrible she must have felt after letting her best friend get lost at sea, thinking he abandoned him for the pirate guy all because of a stupid quarrel.?

I can't tell if it's worsened by the fact that, originally, Hayato tells Asuka he's been waiting there for 3 days not eating, drinking, or sleeping, "Just waiting for Judai to return".
