As of right now, Caleb has three verses.

Quantico. Caleb is an NAT and training to become an FBI Agent.

Mark Raymond. During his time at Quantico, Caleb uses the name Mark Raymond to join a cult undercover and bring it down.

Post Quantico. Caleb works as an FBI Agent.

Essentials: Family Edition

Caleb’s mom is (running for the position of) the democratic vice-president

Before his death, Caleb’s father was the FBI’s deputy director

His mother cares more about her reputation than anything else. When Caleb was addicted to heroine, she refused to admit him to the hospital in order to protect her political campaign. Instead, she provided him with small doses of heroine, attempting to wean him from the drugs at home.

His father had an affair with Caleb’s (ex)-girlfriend.

His parents never fully believed in him. His father offered him money to get Caleb to drop out of Quantico, claiming he wouldn’t pass his tests, anyway, and eventually just embarass his family.

Essentials: Cult Edition 

Caleb used to be in a cult when he was 17. He thought those men would do good, but got brainwashed into nearly becoming a suicide bomber.

His best friend was part of the cult as well. He recently hung himself.

Caleb returned undercover, using the name Mark Raymond. 

Even though his father promised to help him take the cult down, he eventually just agreed to a deal with the cult leader. Therefore, Caleb’s mission to destroy the cult once and for all failed. 

Shelby, the girl he was in love with in Quantico, got involved with Caleb’s father, which further contributed to him believing that no one he cares about considers him good enough.

Caleb’s father told Shelby that the cult would have lured Caleb back in. He wanted to keep the undercover mission a secret, and therefore lied and further destroyed Shelby’s trust in Caleb.
