Just wanted to give y’all a heads up that I’m going to change my username in a bit!

I’ve been thinking about this for about a year now, and as much as I love “Doodle Donk,” I don’t think it represents me or the direction I want to go with my art anymore. The new one is weird but it has meaning to me, and doodle donk is cute but kinda bland/forgettable, y’know? You may have noticed I’ve already started using the new name to watermark some of my work recently. Anyway that’s all! 🤍 When you start seeing “quortknei” on your dash, don’t leave me :)

Some early good news!

Everything is coming to a head, and I’m very afraid, so let me speak for a minute.

Tomorrow, we begin our descent. Regardless of who wins (whenever we find out), a superfluity of dissatisfaction has been boiling in this country for centuries and finally the information deficit for average citizens is low enough that most of us understand the severity of the situation. I still want to reiterate it, though.

The water is about to spill over the pot, and the only way from here is forward. I need you to understand that if Biden wins, you may feel relieved, but you won’t be saved. If 45 wins, you have to be prepared for that – idk how, but be prepared bc it’s not the end of the world, and you’re still going to be called upon to do something about it. There will still be more work to do and to panic is to exercise your privilege. Pre- and post-election are separated not by a formidable wall, but a short hill. Peer over it & have a plan.

Just the same, I’ve been worried seeing people hope 2021 will be better -- a new start. I need you to realize that time is an illusion. There is not before and after, only a continuous line. A year is just a label for the seasons – it doesn’t mean anything. If you want things to be better, you start right now. There is no better year on the other side. There is no other side. Don’t fucking wait. No one can fix this but us, and we’re going to continue to fight for our rights.
