I headcanon that little kid Darry would be a little controlling when it came to playing games with the others, especially make believe games. When things didn't go his way or when people didn't listen to him with anything he would either throw a fit, complain to his parents or just be sulky about it and just go to his room to be a little grump.
He grew out of the phase
