I can safely say I never would have predicted getting This attached to the Karate Kid, but Cobra Kai is a very fun show and I’ve been enjoying it a lot. Turns out middle-aged-former-teen-protagonist-turned-mentor is a trope that’s like catnip to me, and Daniel LaRusso is the latest inductee into my personal Hall of Blorbos. 

This is a couple of screencap redraws that I did to figure out his face, because I am Definitely drawing more of this guy. The first one (drawn second, technically, but I like it best) is my beloved India ink markers and graphite pencil combo, with added red Just Because. And the likeness on the second one could do with a little work, but I did some experimenting with marker blending and coloured pencils and I really like how the colours turned out. Daniel’s a fun guy to draw, and it’s always a good time learning how a new face works.
