I am indeed comforted by the confirmation that you’re well. Thank you for the time you took from your day to write to me, and my apologies that I find it difficult to initiate correspondence myself. In all honesty, it has been… harder to care for myself, these past few days. New year, new classes, new ah… isolation. Most of my time these days is spent by myself and you know what that does to me. Even makes it harder for me to change that fact, as backwards as that is. So I must admit… I did receive this a bit late, as my owl had a bit more difficulty finding me in my new spot, but I also saved it for a few days. For when I knew I’d have stronger need to hear from you. So that day is today.

Thank you for this. These things do tend to slip my mind, especially when it starts targeting itself, so… thank you for these reminders of what to keep in it. You’ve always been one of the most considerate people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and the honor of looking after me. Thank you for everything.
