Betty I get what you're tryna do to save fp but chronologically Cheryl tried to kill herself LAST WEEK. AND she saw her father's dead body THAT SAME WEEK. AND HER HOUSE BURNT DOWN. The girl's probably on suicide watch rn GIVE HER SOME SYMPATHY

AND SHE HAS TO TESTIFY IN COURT AGAINST HER FATHER THAT KILLED HER BROTHER OHMYGOD GIVE HER A BREAK

i really do hate people who dunk on riverdale without fully understanding riverdale. "it's SO ridiculous and bad" yeah and that's the point. you're not clever for understanding the punchline. the series does deserve critique on how it handles many things but hating it cuz the characters get super powers or archie gets attacked by a bear, or even the dialogue is like... and ? it's just genuine fun dude and i'm sad that you can't accept such whimsy into your heart without feeling the need to make fun of it

you're allowed to not like it but don't act like i'm stupid and unable to see how ridiculous this incredibly camp show is

If I could add one thing to Riverdale it'd be so that the core four occasionally play as a band. Don't even need to make it a plotline it's just something that they all meet up and do once every few episodes.

It's sad to me Archie just completely gives up music post season 1 + I just really wanna see the Archie's play </3 we get so many musical episodes (WHICH I LOVE) but not enough garage band core four

did you know that cole sprouse canonically exists in the riverdale universe as a person outside of jughead ? pretty little liars: original sin was made by the same guy as riverdale, and in the SAME episode it establishes that it's the same universe as riverdale, they also mention cole sprouse by name. this is terrifying

ok but what always bothered me is jughead never explains his stupid hat i think ?? "you ever see me without this stupid hat on ? that's weird, right ??" well it wasn't weird until you specifically POINTED IT OUT !! the absolute poser man probably (implies) he only wears the damn thing for attention !! death. death by a thousand swords

on my second actual proper full watch of riverdale again and maybe i'll be consistent enough in my thoughts and feelings about it to necessitate this side blog. and if not i'll put it down like a dog

i watched it properly 2 years ago after discrediting it for years and it truly changed my life. a truly incredible show. i am also weird jughead you are not alone but i fear you only larp weird where i was born in it. molded by it
