rachel barbra berry was basically born tap dancing and belting out high notes. seriously, she's been singing and dancing since she discovered her limbs. her fathers, hiram and leroy, who are performers themselves, were overjoyed and immediately put her in all of the dancing, singing, and acting classes that were available to them in new york city, her birthplace and what made her who she is.
she is currently a junior at NYADA and already going on professional auditions in pursuit of her ultimate goal: to be the biggest star on broadway, and she will do almost anything to get there.
she can be loud, obnoxious, and very opinionated, but she has a good heart and will do pretty much anything for the people that she loves.
a note about rachel from the mun: most of what you know about rachel's personality remains true, however, i have toned her down for the sake of my own sanity and to keep the drama to a moderate level instead of intense level. the only thing that i ask is that you please don't decide that your character hates her from the get-go (this happens a lot, even when i tone her down) as it is disheartening to feel like you cannot make connections because people have already made up their mind about rachel in canon. please give her a chance and connect with her the way you would anyone else, and if that connection happens to be negative, i'm open to that, too.
