John Barrowman NOH8 Message Project.
Hey all! So if you know me, or you’ve seen anything of my blog, you’ll know how much John Barrowman means to me! One thing I’ve always admired so much about him is his commitment to giving back to society and his fundamental work and support for so many different charities in both the UK and the USA.
Most recently, I’m sure you’re all aware John launched a successful represent tshirt campaign to support the ‘NOH8’ charity in promoting equality for all. During the running of this campaign I saw many people tweeting/writing to John telling them of their stories of how the charity has helped them/how the campaign has impacted them. So I had an idea..
I want to put together a book of all of your stories to give to John when I see him in the summer!
So.. send me your stories, letters, thank you’s or whatever you feel you want to say about the campaign! So that I can add as many to the book as possible, please keep to a maximum of 500 words and make them as exciting, colourful and unique as you like! Due to having a fair amount of time to put this together, I’d also love it if you wanted to include selfie’s/pictures of you in your ‘No H8’ tshirts/with your tote bags once they have arrived!!
Once messages have arrived, all I will do is edit them slightly (size wise) to fit into the book if necessary so please feel free to express yourself as you please, I’m not here to judge your stories, I’d just love for John to see as many of them as possible!
Please send all entries with your name and location to: [email protected] by the 30th June to ensure I have enough time to put this together!
So please, get spreading the word! I’d love for this to be a real success, and something I can give to John to show him just how much he’s making a difference to our lives!
