I haven’t posted about MCR in a hot minute but I do wanna say something about Bob. No, he wasn’t a good person. No, you don’t have to suddenly like him because he’s gone. But you can still acknowledge that he was in an awful situation and that it is a horrible way to be found and that whatever happened to him must’ve been a scary way to go. My heart goes out to his friends and family because this is a horrible, traumatizing thing to learn happened a loved one - especially after you haven’t heard anything from them for nearly a month. You can have some compassion while not excusing Bob’s actions.

They need to remove the "convicted felon" option from job applications, and anything else that requires you to say whether or not you have a criminal history.
