he's a cynical detective with a drinking problem. he lives on a dwarf planet and never left it until he had a mid-life crisis. he's got an undercut and a fedora that he wears everywhere even though people regularly tell him it's dumb to his face. he picked a fight with the man who killed his friend even though he knew he'd lose (and in fact immediately got his shit rocked). he's bringing back courtly love 200 years into the future by falling in love with a missing woman he's supposed to be tracking down even though he never actually met her and carrying around her necklace like a rosary, except what he was really falling in love with was the hope and optimism he thought he had already lost. he's divorced. he almost died of radiation poisoning. I didn't say a name but he popped into your head didn't he

I know the expanse fandom isn’t super big on tumblr, but the lack of Detective Josephus Miller thirst is astounding. You’re telling me tumblr dot com, lover of the saddest and wettest meow meows you’ve ever seen, isn’t losing their fucking minds over a washed up, recently divorced sci fi noir cop who’s falling in love with the (possibly) dead girl he’s been hired to track down until he gets roped into saving the universe between bouts of staring at her photo with big wet cow eyes isn’t sending all yall into hysterics???
