Dandelion AvPD Flag; my take on an avoidant personality disorder flag. I personally do not identify with the warmer colors of the more common AvPD flags, so I wanted to make my own. I chose the Dandelion flower as it symbolizes resilence and strength.

The color meanings are as follows; the first and seventh stripes (dark mauve) represents the emptiness that comes with avoidance, the sixth stripe (mossy green) refers to feeling jaded and anxious, the fifth stripe (spanish green) represents recovery and how healing is different for everyone, the fourth stripe (summer green) refers to avoidants who personally feel as if they've finished their healing journey, the third stripe (mint green) is in honor of all the pwAvPD who have lost their lives, be it to suicide or some other cause, and the light yellow represents hope and the comfort found in our safe person(s)

chameleon - a chameleon is alter who disguises themself as other headmates, whether or purpose or not. this can be for a variety of reasons, both good and bad.

woobifier - a woobifier is an introject of a person outside the system who is considered a threat. they look and/or act completely different from their source as a way to lessen fear.

interfector - an interfector is an alter whose job is to hold negative feelings towards an outside person the system is on otherwise good terms with. this term was made with systems with bpd in mind, but is not exclusive.
