Replying ME 1 and looking at the Mass Effect Relay "Statue" like:

It's so funny how at the end of ME1 they do that little fakeout like "oh no! Shepard didn't make it! They got crushed under all this debris! Haha, just kidding they're fine 🙂"

Then you start ME2 and immediately Shepard dies

Guys I think it’s very under appreciated that the illusive man gives you credits after every loyalty mission.

He gave me 15000 credits for taking my Krogan to Tuchanka to fight a giant worm. I’ll buy him a new shotgun as a little treat I guess.

God it's just so crazy that Dao made it so obvious that Morrigan was being abused by her literal cackling obviously morally-grey trickster-esque mother that you'd have to be an absolute moron to miss that even if flemeth had ulterior motives for the abuse it was still so obviously abuse...and then the writers of datv missed it. They really tried to pull the 'child reconciles with parent that abused them on their death bed because they realised it wasn't so bad and they were really loved and they'd been overreacting this whole time actually'. To Morrigan. The woman whose entire arch was about trying to be free of her abusive mother who was trying to steal her body. The mother who gave her clothes that reduced her willpower. That Morrigan.

I think there’s such a beautiful parallel between Thane meeting his wife through the scope of his rifle - standing between him and his target, and Shepard doing the exact same for Garrus.

Irikah blocks the bullet not because she knows either person but as a defiance of violence. She has such a firm belief that no one deserves to die or deserves to kill - that she’s willing to put her life on the line and stare down the scope.

Shepard does it to stop Garrus becoming a tool of violence and vengeance - arguably what Thane was used as. Maybe it’s a sense of guilt considering Shepard is largely responsible for recruiting him but I think it’s more loyalty and devotion than anything.

Anyway I’m really normal about Garrus and Shepard.

there's a lot of dragon age media out there other than the main games. novels & other official books, visual novels, movies & shows... please raise awareness to not spread literally ALL the pdfs and videos around. please be responsible here.

also includes the flash games, ttrpg, and some official dao toolset resources, as well as a timeline with both in-universe dates and release dates (timeline's not currently up to date, it's not a priority, but it's decent)
