The underpainting (verdaccio) of my Hannah portrait is finally ready for color glazes! Oil is so different than other mediums, I really struggle with the learning curve expecting it to act like something it’s not. #gouache is my JAM right now. It’s a bit of a learning curve but it has the fluidity of watercolor with the pigment and opaqueness of acrylic. I just love the punch it packs.
