I DIDNâT LEARN ABOUT THIS IN DRIVING SCHOOL
Stop says the red light, go says the green
Wait says the yellow light, twinkling in between.Â
KNEEL, SAYS THE DEMON LIGHT WITH ITS EYE OF COALÂ SAURON KNOWS YOUR LICENSE PLATEÂ AND STARES INTO YOUR SOUL
THIS IS ALWAYS FUNNY
@irritatedlifeguard I agree with your tags.

the fact that both of these songs are about blitzo and stolas both waking up to their true feelings and include the most painful parts being in reds and yellows is somethingâŠvery very special to me
âThe light constantly changes, and that alters the atmosphere and beauty of things every minute.â ~ Claude Monet

communicating with alters who communicate only with emotions or non-human sounds instead of words:
Have you ever looked back on something and realized holy shit that was because (disorder)? Itâs reassuring but terrifying because you realize itâs been hurting you for so long.
An alter a day keeps your memory away
hey friendly psa/reminder that with the seasons changing right now, a lot of people with mood disorders (and even people without them) can get all messed up and wonky from that so try to go a little easy on yourself if you find yourself spiraling or getting emotional a lot lately okay? youre doin your best. love u
Are You Dissociating?
Dissociating is one of the most common responses to abuse and trauma. It involves feeling numb, detached or unreal and (while it happens to everyone once in a while) is experienced more frequently and severely in survivors. Dissociating people vary widely in symptoms and may experience any or all of the things from the following list.
You may be dissociating if you:
find yourself staring at one spot, not thinking anything
feel completely numb
feel like youâre not really in your body, like youâre watching yourself in a movie.
feel suddenly lightheaded or dizzy
lose the plot of the show or conversation you were focused on
feel as if youâre not quite real, like youâre in a dream
feel like youâre floatingÂ
suddenly feel like youâre not a part of the world around you
feel detached and far away from other people, who may seem mechanical or unreal to you
are very startled when someone/something gets your attention
completely forget what you were thinking just a moment ago
suddenly cover your face or react as if youâre about to be hurt for no reason
canât remember important information about yourself, like your age or where you live
find yourself rocking back and forth
become very focused on a small or trivial object or event
find that voices, sounds or writing seem far away and you sometimes have trouble understanding them.
feel as if youâve just experienced a flashback (perhaps rapidly) but you canât remember anything about it.
perceive your body as foreign or not belonging to you
(likes and reblogs always taken as support)
To my anon asking about dissociation. I hope you see this.
I thought dissociation was only when I have straight up out of body experiences turns out Iâm dissociated like 99% of the time lmso
reminder that all systems switch differently. some have fast switches, some have slow switches. some may look perfectly aware while switching, some may look like they're spacing out. some may have extremely covert switches, some may have extremely overt switches.
the way a system switches does not define their validity as a system. fakeclaiming someone because they don't switch the exact way you think systems should is disgusting. every system is unique, don't try boxing us into stereotypes.
When someone tells you (pwDID) that you used to be a little girl suffering through horrific abuse, but you are a 35 y/o man who's always been that age:
