i hate it when someone mentions how much they hate a character and everyone goes on a rant about how misunderstood they are bc of their trauma like. girl we know. disliking a character ≠ misunderstanding them.

i totally understand their complexity, i simply still hate them. especially if the character has impacted so many lifes for the worse and has terrible morals like wtf. you can have your mass murderer and abuser characters, just please allow me to dislike them 💔

I think 'Isn't She Lovely' playing with a montage of Jax could've been really sweet — like she is finally who she is but she DIES before she can fully enact on it, that is extremely sad — but then you remember Jax is literally the exact opposite of "lovely"; she's actually a serial abuser, a misogynist and now an exorsexist who fantasises about sexually harassing (hypo)manic people.

Sorry but a character realising they're trans doesn't absolve them of their actions, actually. I won't feel bad for an abuser.

Jax gave Gangle her name, as soon as she got into the circus, immediately depriving her of her choice, literally from the first minutes of acquaintance insulted, humiliated, blackmailed, made her feel like an inferior person, took advantage of the fact that she could not stand up for herself, intimidated, never apologized or felt guilty, and literally was not against taking advantage of her sexually.
