Hello again, my name is Rahlee. Pronounced how it’s spelled, as one whole word (basically “Raleigh” just spelled differently).

I have come to the realization that I am a trans boy. A genderqueer boy, but still a boy. And yes, I do love very traditionally feminine things: clothes, makeup, the color pink, etc etc, but these things don’t make up a person’s gender. Clothes don’t make the person, but I also understand it can help.

This has been a pretty anxiety-inducing self discovery the past few months, a lot of questions and considerations, BUT I also felt immediate relief. Like “OH, there I am! That’s me!!”

I am the fanciest of lads, the “girliest” of boys, a most feminine man…but most of all, I am me, I am Rahlee 🥰🏳️‍⚧️

It was revealed that @velnna ‘s BG3 character, Staeve, purred…so naturally, I had to draw my Druid petting two best bois, because they deserve it ☺️💕

Also I’m generally commemorating the fact that I am relieved to not be the only artist positively obsessed with Astarion/BG3/my own Tav 😂 makes me feel somewhat sane. So thanks MAF, and MAF’s discord server!

the way a romanced astarion unpacks everything when you get the good ending for his personal quest is lowkey funny tho

like. he basically sums up the entire point of his journey and confirms explicitly that you did, in fact, make the exact right choices to help him grow????

the writers really drive home this idea of just "that's it! you did it! you uncovered the secret to making him a good person, and it turns out the only requirements were to give a shit about him and believe he's capable of doing the right thing!! literally just those two things and nothing else!!"

it's all really sweet and lovely and emotional but also. REALLY funny to me. because there are all those people who go "astarion is an irredeemable piece of shit with no soul and everyone who likes him is in denial of how much he sucks"

meanwhile astarion's just out there like "thanks for keeping me from becoming the worst possible version of myself by exercising empathy instead of just writing me off as a hateful pile of garbage ❤ love u"

Either I’ve been too deep into the fan fiction lately or this is a little too relevant for Astarion…

Either way, he doesn’t say much about it nor does it lead to any kind of quest, but best believe I’m using this in some future post-game story writing!

Getting too powerful at drawing my own character…do I want to be him or be with h—I want to be him who am I kidding.

Essence, my BG3 character, transmasc tiefling Druid and certified dumbass who’s just trying to figure themselves out 😌💕

He may or may not have made the occasional bad decision while just trying to have fun for the first time in his life, only to find out the boy he was trying to impress was genuinely traumatized and the world was actually potentially ending…

He does his best 😅
