Resurfacing Past/Closed

Levy is in the guild hall late at night. She’s been tense and fidgety all day and just not her normal self at all. She looks towards the entrance of the guild hall often, almost as if she’s afraid someone’s going to burst in at any moment. She really needs to get back to the female dorms where she’ll be safe. But the path there from the guild hall passes through a small stretch of woods in the park and she’s terrified of going through there alone. Normally she’d as Jet, Droy or even Gajeel to walk her home but they’re all out on missions.

Levy spots Laxus at a table alone. The rest of the Thunder Legion had all retired to their respective homes for the evening. She takes a deep breath to steady herself before approaching him.

“Um, Laxus? I wanted to ask if you could do me a big favor and walk with me back to the women’s dorms.” She asks.

Laxus stood by Levy’s side with his arms crossed as he watched Levy socialize. He could tell just based on her vibe that she was feeling.. uncertain. She was probably still keeping her experiences in the back of her mind, letting it eat away at her.

He sighed as he watched Mirajane continue to set up the mark on Levy’s preferred spot. The thoughts of seeing her in that guild really ticked him off with the thought of what they could have done to harm her. Then there was the relationship that budded between them. He had a couple girlfriends before, sure, but with Levy… it was different. But a good sort of different.

“Mmph!” A blush crept on his face as well from her comment. They had been going out for alittle bit, but he was having to get use to it. He finished his drink and chuckled. “Hey now. This handsome mug of mine isn’t gonna get ruined anytime soon, shortstack.” He teased as he picked her up over her shoulder and spun around playfully before putting her down. “You feeling any better? Guess I should’ve thought of that earlier.”

Levy lets out a yelp and laughs before smacking his arm. “Let me down! The others will see!” She whispers. She hadn’t wanted to tell everyone about their relationship yet. Mostly because she knows everyone would freak out and go crazy in typical Fairy Tail fashion and she’d like to keep things quiet between her and Laxus for a bit before letting everyone else know.  At his question she nods her head. “Yep. I’m almost fully better. Porlyusica said that I can get my guild mark reapplied today. Will you come with me?”

Laxus raised a brow at Levy’s question and gave a small nod. “Sure, I don’t see why not. It’d get us away from all the annoying people around here.” Just as he said that a mug of ale was accidentally thrown past his head before he gave a glare in the direction, as it was not meant for him. The roughhousing ceased and shifted away from the two before he ushered Levy to follow.

“Cmon. Looks like I cleared a way.” He said with a chuckle.
