I want to apologize for not sending you more letters, things have gotten bad here on the other side. Eren is... not himself anymore. I can barely recognize him, it's truly terrifying.

I wanted to send you this letter to remind you that I'm thinking about you always, and just to let you know I'm still alive and well. Whatever Eren is planning to do I have to go with it, even if I oppose it. The Yeagarists barely let me near him, he even hurt Armin. It's scary and horrible to see what he's become.

I'm glad you are safe. I rather not have you witness these things, it'd probably be difficult to hold back.

I want you to know I should be home soon, I know that it's been awhile, but I will have some time to spend with you. Don't worry, I promise I'll make it back to you.
