I think I've settled on the name for the AU. Working AU name is "Mobius Tertius AU". This thing has sprawled into something all-encompassing, between magical practices and history and religions, etc.

I'm also pretty confident with the names and a few cultural signifiers for most of the snow leopards. Unfortunately, this means I also changed Priora's name, which means I'll also have to rework the first chapter.

I've also made some big decisions for Angel Island and the Overlanders. We've got the Angel Archipelago, the Overland, and we'll probably end up with a Dingo Fleet or something. I'm planning on moving some of the immigrant groups around on the various islands and such. Got some weird ideas for the Master Emerald too, that may or may not have some quantum bullshitery for inspiration, but idk if I'll ever touch on that.

I'd also like to have a story rooted in the Great War era exploring the politics between the Acorn Kingdom, the Overland, and the Angel Archipelago.

So the geography of classic style games have always been hard for me to follow, which is why it wasn't until recently I realized that Sky Sanctuary is supposed to be basically above Angel Island??

And pre-genesis Archie did basically nothing with this??

So, hypothetically, if the Overlanders actually inhabited an OVER-land, you could have flying cities, and roaming colony fleets. And if you had flying cities and colony fleets, Angel Island might have to figure out trade and wars treaties and stuff with humans. And they might both have to trade with the ground, cuz some shit just won't grow at that altitude.

There's a lot of potential here...

Something I forgot to rant about - why are humans Overlanders, but the collection of flying ships not called "The Overland"? Also, why no flying cities in the Overland? And why is the one canonical city named Overland ON THE FUCKING GROUND?!?
