Lovely!
Tick tock goes the clock. Never does it stop. Tick tock, round and round those whiskers go. And at midnight, the lock would open, as it had so many times before, unfurling a tale yet untold.
A sharp pain jolted the abomination awake exactly at that time. Her memories were a mangled bog, her body screamed as if her very nerves were all on fire at once. Eyes wide open, yet the world all a fog.
Panic kicked into high gear, until she stood up and drew her first breath in years. Hacking the dust out of her lungs, she'd finally start warming up. Details started coming into focus as she held her head with one hoof. Bit by bit she gathered her thoughts. Well, those that mattered anyway and then she was off to do her job as if nothing had happened.
Reporting in at the barracks wearing quite a bit of outdated and rusty gear got her plenty of looks. However, all the paperwork checked out so she was for now directed to oversee training the new guards and candidates. That would be what she'd be doing while the brass figured out how she'd just apparently climbed out of a grave to teach ponies about stuff.
In the meantime, since there was no war going on, she was pretty much free to do as she pleased as long as she did her job as an instructor. A job she happily took up since the better she trained these rookies, the better chances they would have if war ever happened. Or just, be really good at guarding stuff.
It was one of those days she'd seen the rainbow maned pegasus fly around. Which was nice to watch, although she was almost clueless about the whole friendship is magic thing. She did figure that this had to be the famous Rainbow Dash... Fame did make it easier to pick up on all of this new stuff.
They might be famous, but today was physical training and she'd have everyone doing push-ups. No matter the fame, everypony under her guidance would do it. Obviously she herself was included, while holding a notepad and taking up numbers.
That day the training yard was alive with the recruits doing push ups as their bodies hit the dirt along with strained breaths. Some kept proper form and the rest shook violently even sometimes collapsing into the ground only to be yelled at to get up.
While doing push ups, a few glanced up only for Defilicus to see that slightly blue fur once again at the distance only for the tall rainbow pegasus having her eyes locked on the abomination. There was no confusion in that stare not even curiosity. Only a cold, sharpened hatred that followed every movement of that large creature.
Her day WAS doing fine and wondered why she's here exactly. Her ears pinned back a bit as her tail flicked a few times only to turn around and walk away from the training yard. Probably going to her superiors to find out why Defilicus is training the new recruits, she was supposed to be gone or kept away for some reason.
The scorching sun bathing everyone today, sadly it's going to be like that for a few months at least with this weather. At least it is not snow like before...
It had gone just wonderfully right, no crazy old Dash anywhere to be seen trying to make ver life complicated. Maybe they had realized that they were the one causing their own issues. This made Defilicus a very happy mare indeed, because it meant she'd be getting home on time and there was usually something nice to eat for dinner when she made it in time.
She even had her specialist suit that kept her running under normal temperatures although it was a bit tight every now and then. The trainees were a bit distracted by her appearance, but at least nobody got injured as they walked back to the camp.
She'd then be found at her spot, tidying up after the spectacle last night with Dash going absolutely nuts. Then she just jad to leave her report with the officer on duty before going home to share a nice dinner with her very special someone. What a perfect day, nice and sunny too, although that wasn't the reason she kept looking up every now and then as she'd start the trek homeward.
As everyone got back to camp after hours of training, some were more tired than others...
The sun is already setting and reflects a pretty orange color, at the distance Defilicus can see only black silhouette walking around as they head to the camp which gives a very calming feeling. The rest of the cadets placed their gear and backpacks in the cart again so the responsible can take it away and put everything back.
For today everyone's job is done for now but Defi has to finish up her reports to hand them away before leaving, only simple stuff like nobody had an accident, how many tents were actually used, the number of supplies used and the rest is just describing what happened during the whole day with exact time, date and everything.
Once she's done with that report around 10:22 pm,only to leave it in the small mailbox next to the officer office, she can finally leave the place and go back to her 'home'. Defilicus went through the front gate as the responsible there lifts the barrier to let her pass only to see outside there's already steel large carriages coming back, the lamps just lighting up their presence since it's dark already. The same guards from this morning appear, setting down a large ramp only to carefully move the injured in stretchers, some had horrible injuries and some had their faces covered.
Meanwhile the other steel carriage moved quite a lot only to be opened from the inside as the large Pegasus walked out of it, her armor had some blood marks and small chips and bruises. Rainbow Dash simply jumped down and walked towards the entrance gate only to stand in front of Defilicus before lifting the visor to look directly at her.

The moment she saw Dash prepped up to go somewhere else, she felt like she'd hit the jackpot and wouldn't be bothered today by the obviously unhinged mare. The only mare she wanted to corner her was her lawfully engaged wife to be and even that she preferred to happen in the bedroom. So knowing that she'd have all this beautiful and glorious day to just focus on being the best instructor she could to these newbies.
After all she'd need to brush up on her parenting skills if she was to start a real family soon... And what better for it than watching the recruits try and put a camp together for their very first trip into the nature. It was to be perfectly honest, hilarious to watch these oh so serious privates fumble around like little foals when it came to survival. Obviously she'd then instruct them on how to do it properly and watch that they learned these very practical lessons.
The march over had been relatively simple, although probably exhausting for the much smaller units. Although it was a part of the training too so she knew not to interfere aside from giving tips on how to properly balance the backpackd on their backs so their load would feel that much lighter to carry. Once she'd finished teaching them which worms were good for eating and had proteins, she'd finish up for the day as it was free time for the evening again. She'd just stroll around in the forest a bit further away, checking up on their guard posts to play pranks on anyone found sleeping on the job.
As they walk through the field in the scorching sun, sure at first it's difficult but thankfully everyone has water to drink on the way, eventually it feels like they're walking upwards through the forest. Eventually everyone reaches the forest and enjoys the shadows, the environment feels slightly more cool than before.
Some were talking and others just silently following behind, the heavy gear sure is tiring to be carrying it the whole way but that's the challenge after all. The whole task was to set up for camp like for an hour or two and then come back by themselves along with their heavy gear.
As time passed, some began to pack their things and head down as a few are already walking down but now it's difficult since the terrain downward is complicated to walk on. Thankfully no one had an accident yet that needed to be reported so the paperwork later is going to be less annoying to fill up later.

For the next day, the sun sure is hitting today... And somehow those words still fly around Defi's mind. Why in the first place Rainbow Dash would say such a thing. Probably only to upset her but who knows. Today she has work to do and has all the energy to do so.
Every recruit had to carry a heavy backpack along with their scout gear, if they're going to survive that means they actually have to use their tools. Everyone who's taking the training is waiting on the exit from the back of the camp which is just more land of the military. Every recruit leaves their gear in a large cart because they have to travel first before actually starting this whole thing.
But before leaving, Defilicus catches with her side eye on the other exit some troops of guards along with that tall monster again but this time she's using some heavy armor with scales as her face is hidden by the steel visor. The superior did mention today about some recon situation along with a town on the north that must be dealt with. Who knows why they sent Dash since it is just 'recon' but is always better to not lose.

Watching Defilicus leave, Rainbow Dash stood there for a few seconds thinking about facing their superiors just to know what was happening to the large girl but it could be too risky to let them know she's trying to find out and could make things difficult.
She didn't say a word this time, just carefully watching Defi leave the office as she went back to whatever home she has somehow. Knowing if they were too loud fighting, the alarms could go off and everything will be extremely loud and annoying.
She huffs and takes off the broken cuffs, leaving the office with the missing door. The female Pegasus went back to the container she was stuck in earlier, there were some guards already waiting along with the nurses they take of Dash most of the time. Like some pet she got yelled at from escaping, she simply walked inside before the door closed. Now the nurses have to write a full report of the missing patient and spilled fluid that is quite expensive.
In the meantime, she just sat down on the bed, bothered that she had to deal with Defilicus again and who knows for how long but that attitude she has annoys her a lot. Almost like just a punchable face or a punchable voice.

The poir dear did look ever so confused about what Dash was talking about. But this time she was ready for the absolutely threatening mare that had lost their mind. Using her expertise, she'd avoid a perfect pin, ducking out and under Dash, pulling the paw they'd used to punch her with under them as well in her mouth. Then she'd slap on a pair of cuffs she'd borrowed earlier tmfor a study, tying Dash's front leg to their hind leg.
If that was a success, she'd roll out from under the struggling beast before they'd get a hold on her again. "Ruined you?!? How? You're like a damn tank lady... Should be thanking me if I did anything.", she huffed, looking still mighty decent for the treatment she'd gotten so far. Although she did sport a decent set of bruises and cuts she'd have to explain to her better half.
"I-i'm just going to go now, my very real family will get worried... You should really get some help miss.", she'd then add, backing away from Dash as much as she could while still keeping an eye on the hellbent behemoth. It was clear she still had no clue about any of their past at all, maybe there just was nothing there?
Once both her arms were trapped in the cuffs, she fell onto her stomach and rolled on her back just to glare at Defilicus. She was furious, even making a growl noise. She didn't get up just yet, just seeing the other large girl backing away ,Dash says a bit loud. "You actually think that everything you've got is legit!?" Like in a mocking way just to provoke her.
Once Defilicus stepped away, the Pegasus pulled her arms without much trouble only to break the pair of cuffs and set herself free, stretching her arms in the process before getting up from the floor.
Dash could simply follow immediately but she doesn't want to end up in much trouble later with her superiors, knowing that she right now failed but that doesn't mean she's giving up on making things worse to the other monster, she will take her time...

It was quite true that she was made to take a much harder beating than just being hit hard. Each punch would probably end up being more destructive to the attacker themselves with how haphazardly they were wailing at her. Pain was still quite relevant though, and sustaining head injuries at this rate really gave her a headache. How was she going to explain this to her wife to be?
Crack! And the next punch Dash threw at where the mare had been just a moment ago would savagely smash into a bag of flour. Defilicus in the meantime shook her head and got her bearings once her vision normalized after the warp. "You have the wrong mare. I've done nothing to you. Um, but I can refer you to a good psychiatrist?", she replied without realizing she would probably only fuel the homicidal fury of her assailant.
Instead of throwing back a single punch, she'd use the surroundings to her advantage in putting something, anything, between them. "Look, calm down and maybe we can figure this out?", she'd offer, before slapping the door between them shut and melting the lock into place to buy herself time to bolt down the hallway to hopefully safety.
Rainbow Dash was blind with rage, something she had never experienced before in her life, she truly was lost at that time. Once she hits the sack of flour, it rips and simply pours outside, making a small white cloud.
Lifting her head to look directly at Defilicus, she gets up and it's met by the door shutting in front of her face but that doesn't stop her at all, pushing her large body against the wooden door just to break through as some pieces fall on the floor, she says. "Done nothing!?" Her tone was quite strong, maybe she was feeling really frustrated.
She pushes herself against Defilicus only to pin her down while holding her neck with a tight grip. "You're living a lie..." Her free arm began to hit her again, this time nothing was stopping the large Pegasus. "You ruined me!" Dash did take this personal and between words there's a punch with all her strength and pain.
"Where's that monster that used to kill for thirst huh?!" Rainbow Dash asked just to forcefully awaken the large girl so this could get even worse and one of them dead for good.

If Dash had thought she'd be caving anything in with the first punch, they'd be merely sent reeling by the fact that Defilicus' face after all the years of smashing and regrowth started resembling steel under the hide. Although her poor glasses did get wrecked and she did get launched with surprising ease. All this while she still atruggled to gather herself from the first impact.
The impact crater her body caused on the ground was immense enough that she had to actually climb out of it. Still a bit groggy from the sudden assault she'd put together that Dash had gotten loose from wherever they were keeping her until they calmed down. Apparently they were suffering from some acute psychosis and ranting about things that made no sense.
Instead of lunging into a brawl with Dash, she backed on up away from the clearly deranged pony. "Miss Dash, you have to stop this. You're going to wake the whole base making a mess like this.", she'd stutter a bit as she kept herself from looking directly at Dadh in fear that establishing eye contact would rile up this violent pony even more before the medical team could fetch her.
All she had to do was delay long enough that they'd get her under some therapy or something... Maybe she could visit them and find out what had caused this weird fixation once they were properly calmed down...
Rainbow Dash turns around to face Defilicus again, cleaning her hoof against her shirt, leaving a stain on the white fabric. "I'm gonna put an end to this for good... You shouldn't be walking freely after the things you've done." She said before walking up to the large creature and grabbed her by the neck only to bring her closer. "So you either kill me or I'll kill you..."
Suddenly she headbutted Defi quite hard just to throw her backwards at the ground, hurting herself in the process as she bled a bit but that didn't stop her. Dash chuckles to herself as she sits down on the creature stomach just to start punching her face repeatedly. "Come on! Where's the love for the fight?!" She asked as the blood splattered around her hoof from each impact.
Anyone with normal body capacities would just have died on the first two punches but not Defilicus, even though this did hurt, she only has the image of Rainbow Dash hitting her nonstop.
Defilicus had her tea and finally she got to drink it as well, instead of being almost mauled by that medically complicated poor dearie. Time certainly had flown while she was actually having fun doing whatever ot was that they wanted of her. Since it wasn't a war time anymore either, she could just train them with a clear conscience. Although it was kind of boring doing the same thing every day, but from what she'd gathered, boring was the best thing that had happened to her in a long time.
Usually she'd be out and about by now, to make the short trip over to her lover's place to snuggle up for the night, but since she had had such a busy schedule and lots of recruits needed career advice from her believe it or not, it simply ate through her days like nothing else. That had kind of given her an idea about the whole affair with helping soldiers go back to the civilian life once the need for their wartime abilities stopped. There was a gaping hole in the way they were treated, maybe she could draw up something to deal with that...
With those thoughts and her head partially in the clouds, she'd just wander over to the door and open it. She fully expected it to be another one of her students or something having questions about technique or further career stuffs. Looking down at whoever, she had to adjust her glasses, "A moment please, these eyes tend to be a bit hard to deal with sometimes.", while her sight drew back into focus.
Having her mind with lots of thoughts of working, situations needed to be solved and more but when she went to open the door and look outside for whoever was there, her face was immediately struck, no warning, not even a word, simply as that. Her glasses fell on the floor, the large creature entered the room just to step on them to break them.
Cleaning her hoof from the blood, she reaches down to grab on Defilicus mane and lift her slowly by pulling it. "You don't deserve any of this..." Dash said before grabbing her from the waist and throwing her out of the office, following behind while stretching her large wings. "Everything you're experiencing right now is a lie... And I am gonna put some sense in your tiny brain until I murder you with my own claws." Dash explained with a cold tone, she was blind with hatred but there's nothing that could change her way of thinking.
Even if the large Pegasus was still a bit sedated from the drugs, she can still put on a fight without much trouble but still feels dizzy and tired, she thinks of making this quick enough to probably go back to get sealed again for some time.

Defi had her hoofies full of work with the foals etc. For a good while, before she'd return to do her duties at the base again. Although Dash did happen to see her happily greet another pony with a matching ring on them. Apparently they had gotten engaged just like that and the big girl was living her very best pony life all without Dash having nothing to do with it. Not that Dash seemed to have anything to lose either now...
Without knowing that she was possibly agitating anyone, she gave a smooch to her lover right then and there before leaving to deal with the recruits again. Other ponies might have been too busy to have a relationship in the midst of all that work, but since Defi never really needed to stop, she'd be the exception.
Long into the night she'd just work on the program that trained the recruits into real fighting machines. Well, she mostly focused on them surviving a real combat scenario. They'd sadly never simply reach the levels she herself was capable of, but through proper mindset and teamwork they'd be able to tackle most other forms of enemies in a jiffy. There was always something to improve, so she'd spend her time perfecting the training regiment.
Once she'd produced a rather complex, but simple to work with routine for the next few weeks, she'd stop for a healthy salad one of her students had gifted her after she'd helped them out with stuff. It was such a nice night for a little bit of relaxing and salad eating. Idly she wondered to herself if Dash had gotten the help they needed with all that stress the poor thing seemed to be suffering from.
Having such a busy day, it's surprising how everything turned out well for Defilicus work matters, she ended up finishing everything on time, meeting ponies here and there, helping that small event and also having the time to train more and more recruits under her own orders. Probably that's why the superiors are using her like this, only to have her knowledge in other minds to have a better army.
After all that time working and training the recruits, Defilicus has her lunch, alone because who doesn't enjoy their food by themselves? She can write things down while eating and probably continue working.
Meanwhile at the medical bay where the larger rainbow maned Pegasus is, the nurse that was taking care of her went in to check her along with guards for protection only to find the tubes hanging from the machine that was keeping her sedated. She somehow left without anyone noticing...
The clock marks at 20:22 pm and suddenly there's a soft knocking on Defilicus door. Since it's almost midnight, the ambiance feels calm and a bit warm due to the sunny weather.
Tick tock goes the clock. Never does it stop. Tick tock, round and round those whiskers go. And at midnight, the lock would open, as it had so many times before, unfurling a tale yet untold.

As luck would have it, they would indeed see the object of their seemingly eternal obsession much sooner than expected. In fact, they were standing almost right next to the statue of themselves that they had stopped to admire. There just happened to be a window to exactly that spot. Obviously Defilicus had no idea of how worked up Dash had been after seeing her just pop back in like nothing had ever happened between them. Nor did she notice them that day. And was that a traditional unicorn engagement ring on her horn???!!!
Instead, once she had done knitting and watching the recruits, it was time to do the job her way. She'd memorized every single mistake they had made and thought of every angle of improvement to their technique, whether it movement or combat related. All she had to do was suggest these improvements and show them off to them so they could practice properly.
She just instinctively knew pretty much everything there was to the whole guard job, from warfare to just standing around all day looking spooky. Obviously it included criminal handling etc. Yet her behavior reflected nothing of the sort, aside from her size and appearance, ahe was the very epitome of a sweet and friendly unicorn. In fact, for today's evening activity she'd volunteered to act as a camp guide for the foal scouts some ways away from the military post since she really seemed to never tire...
The large female Pegasus didn't know how much time she was gonna be there trapped with those sedatives stopping her completely but she has one thing straight in her mind and that's it to confront Defilicus no matter what. Really having that urge to simply get up right now and go directly to her, it's like an itch bothering her without stopping. For now it's just a matter of time...
Defilicus not having one single clue why there's a statue right there along with a ring on her horn, obviously it resembles marriage but why? Her mind is simply blank and empty from any memory from it, it's weird.
Once Defi finished her small activities to go back to work and help the recruits on new training tips and orders to make it more reliable so nobody has problems in the future. Thankfully they seem to learn faster and probably have a bright future as Royal military or guard. Depending on what they want to specialize in.

The recruits this time didn't have too much trouble doing the exercises and courses but it did take their time which for others superiors would find that rather annoying and probably to start yelling at them but Defilicus took her time to simply knit to pass the time and just watch from far.
Meanwhile that large creature just enjoys her day like if she were shopping at her nearest mall, Rainbow Dash was locked up in a medical container, laying on a large bed while looking through the window with some thin tubes sticking out from her arm to keep her sedated and calm. Instead she was trapped in her mind for now, feeling quite frustrated and miserable knowing this is all Defilicus fault, she simply could have died that day, she fought well but probably feelings are stronger.
She sometimes mumbles and slowly moves her head to each side, thinking on how to make that monster outside pay the price, she shouldn't be walking after all that, she shouldn't be there. Thankfully the drugs are keeping her way calmer but probably once she's out of there she will face Defi again and who knows, start a fight.

Nope, not a speck of recognition remained as Defilicus gazed at her attacker in fright. This pony had to be completely out of their mind saying such things about her. She'd never even met them before they'd seen each other earlier and now they were here frothing at the mouth and trying to get at her. The lunge had luckily fallen short due to that sedative, leaving the poor innocent, absolutely adorable abomination completely unhurt. Although she was a bit shaken about her evening and work getting quite disrupted.
Taking a deep breath, she'd smile happily at her saviours. "I hope she gets better soon. I have met some very stressed out cadets, but that was a bit scary. I'm sure I've never met her before either, weird.", she'd then sigh as she looked Dash over with some worry for their well-being even if they had just almost assaulted her.
"Oh, no hurry. I can work with a more open office for a while. Can already feel that fresh air flowing in.", before starting to clean up her spot back to the way she liked it. The old door ended up getting bolted onto her table so she could put more stuff on it as she worked and decorated. Besides, it looked pretty cool. Surely it was just another thing about working in such a very important role in a high pressure environment and this was just a coincidence that the delirious pony had targeted her.
Next day she'd be up bright and early to set up the training field. Whistling to herself a little tune as she worked the morning away. The last night had finally started feeling mess dire.
Taking the large girl away, dragging her through the mist of dirt created by the dry land thanks to the summer these days. For now Defilicus can continue enjoying her cup of tea and finishing her work for tomorrow and get it delivered. Now that the door is completely fixed, she can rest until tomorrow morning.
The next day comes as the sun rises again and it's really bright, along with that warm dry air that it gets annoying for some time. Defilicus sees another group of recruits running around the field to train, making a lot of galloping sounds as the hooves hit the ground each time. It's almost relaxing.
From the superiors office on the second floor they were watching Defilicus with binoculars just watching her from afar. They were having a small conversation though. "We can't have another fight like the one last night. If no one interfered, Dash could have ended up killing her... I say she needs those memories back!"
There's complete silence for a few seconds only for one to say. "No... She's too dangerous. We're barely controlling the rainbow one and you want another fuck up? I say let it be for now, maybe it is the best like this. Besides, they're doing any task we are giving them."

The larger female pegasus looked at Defilicus with hatred in her eyes, stepping forward and reaching for her neck only to continue being yelled at by the superiors outside. "Subdue her at once!" Someone else yelled.
Rainbow Dash flinched as something struck her from behind. "This thing is only going to make things worse, she needs to go!" She yelled and lifted her arm like going for a kill or simply a hit only to release a soft weak groan. Suddenly her large body tilted forward and fell down, making a slight loud thud once her body hit the wooden floor.
Defilicus now had a better view from the outside, there are five others holding a metal muzzle and a empty crossbow. Before walking in and along with the superior looking quite stressed. "I'm sorry, it's difficult to control her, she can barely control her emotions herself." Then those five larger ponies began to drag Dash outside the room, her body all limp probably from a sedative. "I'm gonna send someone to fix your door in a minute." The superior said before walking out as well and pointing in a direction so they take the large girl away until things calm down.

Everyone trained until the sun began to hide at the horizon very slowly, making the air feel much dense and warmer but it's a matter of time to get darker. The recruits were ordered to shower and hit the barracks early to rest for another day tomorrow for more training.
Once Defilicus went to her own small place to write things down and enjoy a drink and some food, she heard at a distance from outside some heavy steps and a strong tone yelling with pure hate.
"Rainbow Dash I said no! Go back to your barracks at once, I'm not gonna repeat myself again!" The male voice said quite loudly before the door from Defi's room is kicked open by the same pegasus from this morning only for her to enter and push the table out of the way.

I believ in unicorns 🌈🦄
