i wanted to leave this AU on a positive note but anyone who saw my other update post knows already. this is a very passionate response because i and other scene danganronpa fans have been dealing with this for over 3 years, along with general homophob!c harassment. very ironic considering this is danganronpa we’re talking about. for context, i will not be looking up anything under my au tags or anything relating to scene danganronpa again, so i will not see any of your messages or responses.
i am sick and tired of the continuous disrespect of the scene danganronpa community to my and other artists boundaries. you constantly reupload our artwork without permission, steal our designs, and illegal sell our artwork/designs, then spew some of the most vile insults when we point it out. this is an issue MULTIPLE scene DR fans have dealt with. i have absolutely no motivation or want to return to the community if you all continue to disrespect artists.
seriously, this is the scenekid danganronpa community, why is it so awful??? i just wanted to make funny scenekid edits for fun, now im sad i ever posted my art online, and have seen other artists wish the same. i also dont even like to consider myself a scenekid anymore considering their history of platforming horrible people and just generally being pretty disgusting, but thats a whole can of worms.

thank you to all the people who were respectful. when i was still active in our little community + the scenekid DR community as a whole, it was really cool. i was super into scene fashion at the time and it was fun meeting other scenekids who liked danganronpa, and had similar HCs to mine. it was really awesome whenever i posted a new edit and someone said “hey! ive been waiting for you to do this character :)” and actually made me tear up a few times. realistically its not that big of a deal, it was just cool seeing so many people genuinely appreciate my artwork, even if it was just badly done scenekid edits of danganronpa characters. i really loved seeing people make content /inspired/ by my edits and even say they wanted to cosplay them. while i dont have those feelings anymore, it was fun while it lasted. sorry if this seems really sappy and overly serious, im not sure how to write things casually, HaHa.
hi! this AU is on hiatus. i shouldve called it that before because it’s technically been on hiatus for about a year or two now.
more info below the cut if u wanna hear me rambling + more detailed info.
i dont like danganronpa. i like the concept of the games but i hate the games, i hate how they represent minorities, and im not too fond of its fandom but thats more-so because fandoms will always have bad sides.
it de-motivates me from wanting to work on it since the only motivation i have is to work on my HCs for the characters, and i really only like about 10 of them. i hate most of the characters. you can see why i would hate working on a lot of sprites/art for it then.
but it is about something i like, scemo and other alternative culture, and i would like to turn it into something more than sprite edits and occasional art thats not pumped out frequently at all. but im stuck. i dont know what to do with this.
i wish i had motivation to do more sprites or such for it but i dont, i dont know what to do with it, i dont know how to “revive” it i suppose? if anyone reading this who is a fan of this AU please, if you have any ideas let me know. i dont want it to just dissapear, yknow?
i thought about making animations but i do not have the physical strength (nor programming) to animate, especially with my detailed designs, but i did think about making a roblox game about it.
--- seems funny but i like roblox and make things in it a lot and it could be used for both practicing and fun, reviving something dead, and giving me something more extensive to work on. writing that out, i will probably do that route eventually...
anyway. to anyone whos stuck around this long, thank you. even though i dont work on this AU as much as i used to, seeing its small community when it was thriving really made me happy. im glad i was/am able to make things people relate to and love.

hello! i finally got tumblr to work so i can even use this hellspawn website. i havent uploaded here in forever.
i got logged out of tumblr so i couldnt use it at all forever, BUT, i also havent worked on the au in forever
i mostly made this au in the peak of my DR spin and hyperfixation and made a lot of content for it. i rlly only get big bursts every once in a while to work on this au, and i dont really have motivation to post sprites anymore bc some people keep stealing my edits and selling them on stuff :) which is very demotivating
this au is not completely dead! i still have plenty of ideas and unfinished wips of sprites for it. i just dont know what i could do in the meantime when im not making sprites/art. if anyone has ideas pls let me know, i honestly have no idea how many ppl will see this
got around to re-editing souda ! i was gonna add more bracelets but i am way too lazy for that . also his belt isnt the like, sinch ones ppl do on tiktok r watever . old watermark but eyyyy it still works

- i started making more drastic edits to my sprites bc im willing to put the effort into them
- im either going to delete all my old stuff and repost it or go back and edit it with my watermark. i cant believe someone was selling an edit of my kokichi sprite on a FACEMASK. plus other people just keep stealing it without credit (im ,, very annoyed to say the least. i try to be nice but oh my god this is ridiculous)
