Kindness or Investment?

It makes me sad when...

a clingy friend only feels clingy when it benefits him or her too...

only checks on you when she or he needs your reply for favors...

only connects with you because you are of a good investment for now but does not compromise even just a little bit when you needed a friend for safety's sake...

does not reply to your messages or if she or he replies it means you are of use at the moment...

does not care if you could not afford to physically function but cares a damn when you are dead...

Funny how people can be hypocrites just to survive...sad reality.

So if you choose kindness, it ìs a choice you made. Do not make friendship as means of investment. It is refreshing and I am grateful to have loved ones and know people with genuine kindness and friendship, based on sincere connection, rather than friends who are using relationships for personal gain.
