@raindropsonmyhead
I applied for 2 part times last week and I was so sure that they would take me to one, but not the other one. I really wanted to go to the one I felt like I had no chance in being accepted - closer to home, the enviroment felt better. The only minus was wage, but I’m currently going for experience, so it doesn’t mean that much.
The one I was so sure about kept writing emails about how they need more time to decide. The other one called exactly on the day they promised and they want me in their team. I think that tells a lot about company itself.
I’m so excited. I’m really looking forward to have part time close to a field of my studies. C# is my fave even tho I learnt it myself mainly for my bachelor’s thesis. Can’t wait to see what is this job going to be like.
Ah, it feels so weird to come back and seeing this as the last post I made, years ago. Back then, I wouldn't believe where it would all end.
After I finished my Master's I was offered FT position in that company. Looking back, I'm so happy I went with the gut feeling, because I couldn't been happier. The work is not my identity, but I feel happy to work, I love my colleagues, projects and the general work environment. This job helped me through dark times at uni, where I was thinking about dropping off due to various family issues. Now it's enabling me to do things I enjoy and I learned so much not only about the field, but about myself as well.
So my closing thought would be: trust youself.

I’ve never been into playing any sort of computer games but here I am, somehow spending hours of my time playing Witcher 3. How am I supposed to write my final thesis in such conditions? :D
Chris Cornell & Chester Bennington
That’s a lot of lights, Prague. Thank you for rocking with us.
Light through the larch
shadow of the day - linkin park
RIP Chester Bennington 😔
I can’t believe I saw Linkin Park just month ago and that I won’t ever see them all, together.... It’s such a bad feeling and I can’t even imagine what went through Chester’s head. They were in my life for such a long time. My secondary school equals to Linkin Park obsession. I’m so greatful that my boyfriend convinced me to go to Prague just to see them. Rest in peace.
