For those of you having a tough time like me right now, remember to be kind to yourself. It's ok to take a step back and slow down. You may not be where you want to be yet, and progress may be slower than you'd hoped, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy life. Appreciate whats around you right now, the people who care for you and the gifts that you have.

Theres beauty everywhere as long as you know where to look. 💚

Painting the Way - WIP

Here's something I've been working on the past few days. It's brought me a lot of joy so I hope it does for you too!

And if you want a little backstory:

Not every person in our life can stay there forever. Certain things aren't meant to last that long. But that doesn't mean that they aren't important— that your feelings aren't real.

Sometimes people grow apart and change. Other times, they are cruelly stolen away. It hurts, but overtime those feelings become a faded memory.

But we take these memories with us. Each smile, each echo of laughter, every kind word and soft touch. As we paint our new life without them in it: they're never truly gone.

And who knows, you might meet again someday.
