I think some people are born to leave fingerprints on other people’s minds.
The writer must have a good imagination to begin with, but the imagination has to be muscular, which means it must be exercised in a disciplined way, day in and day out, by writing, failing, succeeding and revising.

this and also the only difference between fanfic writers and writers who sell their own original works as careers is that fanfics aren’t monetized. that’s all.
being a “professional” writer doesn’t mean your works are inherently better than fanfics. I’ve read so many fics that are more professionally written than some published books.
whether or not a piece of writing is monetized has nothing to do with its quality.
A non-writer asked me "but where do you get your ideas" and i genuinely did not know how to explain that it's not a place. it's not a website. it's not a folder. it's that i was on the bus and a woman was holding a paper bag very carefully and something about the way she held it made me need to know what was inside and then i needed to know why she was sad about it and then there was a whole person and then there was a whole story and the bus had already stopped and i missed my stop. that's where.
If there is one thing Agatha Harkness is going to it’s show up and serve cunt 💅🏻
Sometimes I need a cigarette, not because I smoke, but like as a literary device.

I feel like this is something @theshitpostcalligrapher would write.
no no this one is a @carpe-aurore, I do chunkier scripts and she does a copperplate that would slay this
I think maybe part of wanting to date women is wanting them to be able to exist in a world where they can laugh as loud as they want, where snorting is cute, where they never have to shrink themselves to be loved. Sapphics love to see a woman free herself from the norms of heterosexuality. We want to see you in your comfy clothes, hair however you want to cut it, without your makeup. We like your lines. We think you are more gorgeous at 44 than you were at 20, we want to know the wisdom that life has brought you. We want to see you center stage in your own life
