watching gen z and millennials make fun of gen alpha has been torturous. "But they're actually stupid" 1. theyre middle schoolers 2. isn't that what older gens said about us? don't you remember being 11?
it truly is just "impulse reaction to cringe <- has not yet unlearned shame"
the cycle continues let me out of here
guys. guys I think we should kill cringe culture
I don't know who needs to hear this but your brain is lying to you and you don't need to wait until there's a round number on the clock to go the fuck to bed or start that project or eat a meal.
Get up and do it now.
still healing from things i don't speak about, i just take it day by day

Manipulation is when they disturb your peace, provoke you, trigger your mental health, and then blame you for your negative reactions.
“It is okay to be at a place of struggle. Struggle is just another word for growth. Even the most evolved beings find themselves in a place of struggle now and then. In fact, struggle is a sure sign to them that they are expanding; it is their indication of real and important progress. The only one who doesn’t struggle is the one who doesn’t grow. So if you are struggling right now, see it as a terrific sign — and celebrate your struggle.”

"Pride month is over"
WRONG! Your pride month is over! Me and all the other disabled queers are having pride month two: disability edition
Reblogging this again bc people in the notes are asking a lot of "Am I included? Am I disabled if I have x?" and I just wanted to add the flag here to show people who the pride month is for.
This is the new flag, the old one was more vivid and in a z shape, but it's been made more neutral to be inclusive of people with seizures or sensory issues.
Each stripe represents a different aspect of disability:
Red: Physical disabilities
Yellow: Cognitive & intellectual disabilities
White: (And this is the key one I think) Invisible AND undiagnosed disabilities
Blue: Mental illnesses
Green: Sensory disabilities
If you're autistic or have ADHD? this is your pride month. If you have a mental illness, it's your pride month. If you're hard of hearing, this is your pride month. If you have an autoimmune disorder, this is your pride month. If you are not diagnosed with anything but you know something is up with you: THIS IS STILL YOUR PRIDE MONTH.
reblog this post to remind the person you reblogged it from that they’re valued and loved and seen
now that is disability pride month I wanna talk about how tiring it is to be a wheelchair user when you're able to move your legs. every time I used a wheelchair in public there was always someone trying to tell me I'm faking my disability because "they saw my leg move"
people are SO uneducated about disabilities to the point where they believe only those who are paralyzed can use wheelchairs. jesus christ.
As an ambulatory wheelchar user I cannot count the number of times I've been attacked in public for getting up out of my wheelchair. It's legit frightening and keeps me from being more mobile than I could maximally be.
Part of it is the ablest mindset of mobility aids being an absolute last resort to be avoided at all costs, like their use is only valid if it is physically impossible to do without them. They genuinely believe that if your legs work at all, no matter how much pain it would cause you or how much damage it would do, you should be standing and walking. Otherwise you're lazy or a quitter.
As with most things, I blame the puritans.
I, too, blame the Puritans.

As long as the sun rises, I’ll continue to trust the process.
When I say nonbinary people can look like anything I am aggressively including nonbinary people who have beards, body hair, and who are assumed to be cis guys, firstly because that’s also me and secondly because we’re always overlooked or subjected to cringe culture. Nonbinary doesn’t just mean skinny, pale and absent of gender signifiers.
