Dimitri Mellos, Gas station near lake Prespa, northern Greece, 2006
just finished reading ajin. i don't think i like the ending, but on the other hand i'm not sure what i expected. maybe some more deaths? demon slayer-style with half the main cast gone or permanently incapacitated. but then again the entire point is that they can regenerate, so i suppose that's not really feasible. i kinda expected kei to die, and i don't think i expected kai's revival to actually work even though i think it's definitely a working twist. but i also think that it could be seen coming at the same time as it couldn't. like, there were only really two options and this is definitely the more optimsitic/positive ending which it seems the author aimed towards. whatever, it was fine, i've read better and i've read worse. i liked that ogura survived. i like kei's mother.
