Udonge looked thoroughly confused and uncomfortable, but Mami really couldn’t blame her. She felt terribly sorry for her, and decided that it was better to make sure she could offer as much hospitality to the bunny girl as possible. But retrieving her memory and getting her back home? That was another problem, one Mami couldn’t think of a solution for.

"You’re not a bother at all, Udonge. I don’t get company very often, so it’s actually quite nice to have someone staying over for a while." Mami chuckled, feeling just a tinge of guilt for using such a situation to give herself company, "But I certainly do hope that your memories will return soon, and you’ll be able to get home. Your family must be worried sick about you."

"A-Ah, yes, thank you..." Her ears perked up a little, still drooped down, but not so low. "O-Oh, right, you never did tell me... Um, may I have your name, Miss...?"

This person sure was awfully kind. Udonge sure was lucky to run into, er, crash nearby, such a nice person. ...Ugh, that name didn't sound right, even in her thoughts.

She…had trouble remembering her own name…? Well, Mami wouldn’t blame her. After all, severe bumps on the heads always seem to induce amnesia. But that was going to be troublesome. At least she could remember part of her name, right…? Udonge will have to do for now.

"W-Wow, you really did lose your memory…th-that’s pretty awful, honestly." Mami stammered, really pitying the girl now. "First you’re in a foreign land, now you lost your memory…D-Don’t worry, Udonge, I’ll try to take good care of you, alright?"

Huh. For some reason, she still wasn't very happy being called that. She didn't know why, but it's not like it could be helped, "Udonge" being all she could remember at the moment.

...Did something like that really happen to her? Losing her memory... Now that she thought about it, she couldn't remember anything she'd been doing any time before crash-landing here, nor much else.

"…That sounds familiar, but I’m not sure why. I, uh… What happened that had gotten me in this situation, anyway? I don’t even believe I know where I am…" She rubbed her head more, it being just a simple idle action at that point. "Forgive me, it’s difficult to think clearly with this pain in my head." As she apologized, she carefully stood up, glancing around at the area. She didn’t know this place at all…

She doesn’t know where she is? …Well, to an extent that would make sense, Mami supposed, after all, she did just fall from the sky out of nowhere.

"You’re at the outskirts of Mitakihara City right now, near the highways. I…I-I don’t think I can possibly offer any sort of explanation that might alleviate your situation, but if it helps, I suppose I could lead you back into the city. I-I’m kind of new here too, but I kind of know addresses of places…"

At this point Mami had given up trying to figure out how or why that happened. She looked up into the sky to see if she could have fallen from a plane, and her parachute nearby, but she didn’t see anything. It was a clear sky, except for the moon beginning to rise.

"I-I’m just glad you’re alright…w-wait…"

"Moon, rabbit ears…" Mami wasn’t sure why she made that connection just by looking at the clear sky, but it seemed plausible, right? "Hehe, are you supposed to be the lunar rabbit?"

"Oh, the moon? I’ve been to the moon before! One time, I used a huge robot to stop the moon from hitting the earth!" She grabbed Reisen’s hand. "We should totally go to the moon! I can get us there, real easy!"

Flonne skips up to the rabbit girl and gently strokes her ear. “I’m Flonne! I love rabbits.” She points to her headband. “See? We’re alike!”

"Alike…? …I guess so." Reisen reaches her hand up to get Flonne’s away from the ears, but hesitates and eventually figures that it’s fine, letting the girl do what she wants. "Oh, It’s nice to meet you, Flonne. My name is Reisen… Reisen Udongein Inaba."

"Are there a lot of cute bunny people like you, Reisen?" She continues to stroke the girl’s ear. "I would love to meet them! Bunnies are sooo cute! ♥"

She spoke! Mami wasn’t quite sure what she expected, since people usually don’t survive such a heavy impact. But there she was, living and breathing and speaking, as if that was nothing big. Not to mention, her clothes are perfectly fine as well. Doesn’t friction usually burn all that off…?

"A-Ah! Y-Yeah!" Mami stammered, still dumbfounded by the surreal meeting. It was quite obvious that the bunny girl survived a fall that would have been fatal, but perhaps it was still quite important to check up on her to make sure she’s alright. "I-I was j-just wondering if you’re okay…?"

"Okay...? Ah, well." Was she? She took her hand away from her head and looked her arms over, then down at her body. She didn't need a thorough look-over, and after a moment she simply shrugged.

"...Well, I think I'm okay. I don't seem to have any injuries, or anything... At least, not besides this massive headache... I think I fell on my head... But I'll live, though."

Mami was just traveling through the outskirts of Mitakihara City back home when she suddenly heard the explosion. The impact made the ground shake and Mami jump. Whatever it was, if Mami had been standing there, she would have surely suffered heavy injures. The thought made her shudder.

But whatever it was, it was certainly worth the look. Mami headed towards where the smoke was coming from. Was it a meteorite? Was there supposed to be a meteor shower at this hour? As she drew near ground zero, she realized that it was neither of those things. It was… a long haired schoolgirl with bunny ears.

"U-Umm……" Mami began, unsure of what to say. Who would know what to say to a bunny girl who just fell from the sky? Even the mini magical girl Mami sitting in her pocket was speechless. "…A-Are you…okay…?"
