okay I do have what I imagine to be neils like "signature" outfit, like the one he's known for. you're just going to have to piece tye pictures together in your brain as I can not draw. okay? okay!
I wanted to include the signature green sweater in some sort of way, alongside the converse, that are all worn out because of how much he wears them and dirty too :/ I don't think he wears the jacket all the time, just sometimes, like ten with that damn trench coat. he also has his glasses, the exact ones he wears in dps, he keeps those in his pocket along with his screwdriver, which I'm not actually too sure on what it looks like, but maybe something like this picture below?
I like to think neil's TARDIS is very cluttered. he keeps random things from random adventures all the time, his favourite is the crown he keeps. pucks crown. ^^ on the topic of the TARDIS if I had to pick an interior I think it would be like the most, I'd probably say 11's? not completely the same, but closest to that.
okay, now onto neils companion :D
they met during some sort of invasion of earth, where people were being brainwashed, or something like that. (this is only a rough concept bare with me) they had already gotten todds brother, jeffrey, and they were about to get todd before neil stepped in and got him away. todd obviously freaked out, neil said he'd explain later and just tried to stop everything that was happening while todd followed along, (very awkwardly) bombarding neil with questions, neil ended up explaining acting like it was the typical sunday, because well, it was for him man. mid explanation they had the typical "well, doctor what? doctor who?" "just the doctor!! :D" thing too. eventually they ended up saving everyone, including jeffrey. Neil ended up offering todd to travel with him and todd, who was hesitant at first, and who was discouraged by jeffrey (out of fear of him getting hurt), he eventually agreed, and that's how they roughly began travelling together.
to me charlie would be the master :') he ends up causing shit just to get neils attention, who was quite happy chilling with todd until charlie just HAD to pipe up. typical thoschei stuff happening there.
also just a little silly random hc but I think neil would say "oh my stars" instead of oh my god or anything like that..
