i wonder who else is left here. i think most, if not all of us, have moved on, and only a few of us come back into this space that used to be a major part of our lives back in the early 2010s.

we’re in the 2020s now, and we’re all reaching out for bigger things out there. but i do wonder who come back on here, and see who they once were. because i think we can see who we wanted to become through the posts that we made. and i wonder if y’all ever reached those aspirations years later.

I appreciate all y'all who stayed on here. I stopped a while ago, and this blog is left unused for so long. life moves on, but it's nice to come back and see the memories and feelings that I felt in the past.

why

i don't know why, but i've always been independent. i hate relying on people, although i tend to rely on others quite often. i've always done things on my own. i don't like clinging to people, or holding people back. but for some reason, that's exactly what happened. i started holding onto people. i started to value other people. i didn't want to let go because i'm trying and learning to hold on to the people who might actually matter - for once. it isn't easy because i fuck up a lot, but i'm starting to understand that i can't actually be on my own island anymore. i need people. i need their support. granted, not everyone will always be there. but you've got to allow people to try to stay instead of letting go at the right time. that's what i've done with so many people, even the ones on here. it's easy. or it was so easy for me. but i've been good - i've started to trust people, even a little bit. i let them see sides of me, sure, but i'm starting to share the rest of myself - slowly, and not always consistent, but i'm definitely trying. it'll take a while. it's a process, much like how life forces you to undergo the ins and outs of emotions and experiences. until now. i have to force myself to let go. what scares me is once i realize how easy it is to let go, i'll start letting go again without giving a fuck about other people. but let's do that. let's see where it takes us. starting here - letting go of tumblr again.
