inanimate insanity fans when theres countless very interesting and compelling female characters: no no nono i want the one dimensional man who collectively has only been onscreen for likely less than 90 minutes total. whos bow and marsh and apple idont know who that is i want to post about my one dimensional male character who sucks really bad and isnt even that interesting
i feel like there should be more canonical trans rep in object shows. yes, headcanons are perfectly fine and acceptable, but as far as i know the only real object shows that actually depict on-screen trans characters are battle for dream island, inanimate insanity, and PB & GB
then again, i'm not really familiar with a lot of object shows so there's probably more shows out there that do actually have trans rep, in which case please let me know about those as soon as possible <3
figured i might as well share my objectsona now that i'm actually posting stuff :3 i am so normal about one btw and do not constantly think about them at all hours of the day (lying)
so i know everyone and their mother is comparing caine to four (especially since according to gooseworx, that's one of his inspirations), but here's an alternative: do you guys think this would work well for a host one AU? like if one takes four's show instead of two, this entire song is genuinely a good example of how i imagine they would treat their contestants
feeling like i might do something with that premise, but then the concept i have in mind for it might be ripping off the II fic hijacker to maybe an unsettling degree (<- has not read it)
The Justy Chapman and Jazzy Oliver Situation [Part Two]
Part One: Link to post
Part Two: (You are here!)
in part one, we spoke about justy chapman's allegations and their inappropriate relationship with hiraeth, the teenager justy has been speaking to in private.
under the read more of this second part, i will be copying and pasting my tweets about jazzy oliver's involvement and why her actions lead to her rightful termination.
fair warning. these next few sentences are a bit of a live reaction from me when this was all unfolding. reminder, i'm copying and pasting my orginal tweets.
i knew the osc had issues with parasocial relationships and being all too willing to immediately forgive someone's predatory behavior the second it looks like there's room for doubt. but i didnt think jazzy oliver would be one of those people. i'm so deeply disappointed
jazzy youre a full grown adult. how can you look at a situation where a teenager who had legitimate claims of being groomed by justy, distanced from them, and suddenly retracted these claims after reconnecting with justy and speaking privately for months- and not question it??
this isnt how a situation like this should be handled, and its definitely not something you should publicly boast about and give your young impressionable audience the idea that what justy did was okay just because the teen they flirted with said its okay that it happened now.
jazzy making the decision to platform justy was one that went virtually unchallenged for two days. shortly after i posted about it, she made a response post.
jazzy thought justy "only groomed one teenager" and thought that was okay + worth overlooking and didnt think she was expected to actually look into the situation before immediately reconnecting with & promoting an accused groomer to her audience.
instead of making the effort to look into the situation or do any research, as a responsible adult would when handling such a sensitive situation with serious allegations, jazzy instead immediately took the opportunity to befriend and platform justy chapman after hiraeth defended justy's inappropriate behavior. jazzy declared justy innocent and her best friend without looking into the situation even once.
this was jazzy's response after people confronted her for platforming justy. she defends herself for saying she didn't know there were multiple victims and only knew about the one victim. as if that makes it okay.
jazzy oliver these sorts of claims against an adult in a predominantly young community are serious and you, as an adult, are expected to at least look into the situation before immediately befriending an accused groomer and claiming that you're best friends now.
you cant say "i dont keep up with drama" when you're actively dismissing the claims against an accused groomer and immediately boasting about your friendship with them. how was befriending them a higher priority to you than checking on the actual grooming allegations.
you cant just sit and wait around for someone to correct you or spoon feed you information. if you care as much about grooming allegations like you claim maybe actually look into the situation rather than immediately befriending the groomer and telling everyone how great they are.
your excuse that you thought there was "only one victim" is horrific. so its okay when only one person got groomed? suddenly its only an issue when multiple people were hurt? is one person not enough?? what kind of point are you making here other than you didnt care to check??
your excuse was that you rush your judgments. okay. why was the judgment you made IMMEDIATELY in favor of the groomer and NOT the victim??? how can you claim to care about grooming allegations when your first instinct was to declare the groomer was wrongfully accused??
i want you guys to pay attention to the language she uses in this. when referring to the groomed teenager, she only ever calls them "the accuser". but when referring to herself and her own experience, she calls herself "the victim". this freudian slip is really telling.
even when shes saying she had no idea, even when she's being told justy's actions were predatory and inappropriate, she never once refers to justy's victims as "victims." only "accusers." the only victim she labels here is herself.
soon afterwards, jazzy oliver would continue posting to bluesky and refusing accountability, as well as suicide baiting her young audience after being told she handled the situation extremely irresponsibly
jazzy you cant try and claim arguing about a tv show and platforming a groomer are the same thing. this isn't "internet drama," these are serious grooming allegations of an adult acting inappropriately with young fans and endangering them. this isn't about your personal feelings.
you can believe in people but you need to actually do the research and actually look into a situation before coming to the conclusion that someone is innocent. immediately jumping to defend a full grown adult with multiple allegations without doing ANY research is ridiculous.
you didn't just make a mistake, you acted extremely irresponsibly and endangered your young audience and several people are pointing this out and holding you accountable for platforming a groomer. you need to take this opportunity to listen and own up to what you did.
jazzy oliver you didnt even "shut away internet drama," you made the decision to publicly defend justy chapman without looking into the situation to begin with?? that's not "shutting drama out" that's intentionally refusing to do any research just so you can befriend a groomer!
the OSC exploded in an uproar of disblief and anger over jazzy's horrendously irresponsible handling of the situation.
it wasn't long before animation epic was made aware of the situation, and they made the decision to fire jazzy oliver for endorsing someone who they rightfully fired for engaging inappropriately with significantly younger fans.
however, jazzy oliver hides these details from her fans. she omits the truth about what she did and downplays it in an attempt to garner sympathy and to make animation epic's decision to fire her seem "unreasonable."
she leans heavily into the belief that she, for whatever reason, should not have been expected to look into the situation before speaking in favor of an alleged groomer. with a situation as serious as this one, any reasonable adult would know to look into it before coming to conclusions in favor of someone with grooming allegations.
but jazzy puts the responsibility of gathering information on the situation on others; claiming that someone else should have told her instead. she completely shrugs off all responsibility.
shortly after being fired, jazzy oliver's partner jordan (voice of teddy) made the decision to step down from animation epic in solidarity with jazzy oliver.
stephanie pines, friend and irl roommate of jazzy oliver and jordan also made the decision to step down from voice acting as microphone.
jazzy oliver was the only one who was fired. her partner and roommate made the decision themselves to leave animation epic, siding with jazzy even after her brash platforming of an ex-crewmember-turned-groomer.
jazzy oliver would continue her immature and tasteless spiel on bluesky after getting fired, making jokes about how she can now publicly post about her more explicit "yaoi" roles in other projects she's involved with. completely ignoring the fact her audience is made up of minors.
in a strange fit of revenge, she even made an attempt to take down michael huang; one of the creators of BFDI and TPOT. someone who was completely unrelated to her firing.
like in many of the instances where she was caught up in controversies, jazzy made an attempt to paint others as transphobic/homophobic/bigoted to try and garner sympathy. however this attempt backfired extremely, and she deleted the post shortly afterwards.
in the end, animation epic released a statement regarding justy chapman and jazzy oliver, addressing the reason in why justy was fired, and why jazzy was fired for platforming them. they also confront hiraeth for the "inaccuracies" and "untruths" presented in his video debunking justy chapman's grooming allegations, and for the fact that it does not tell the full story.
thus concludes the jazzy and justy controversy, and why neither jazzy nor justy were "innocent" or "wrongfully fired." both are full grown adults who should have known better and handled everything extremely inappropriately.
The Justy Chapman and Jazzy Oliver Situation [Part One]
Part One: (You are here!)
Part Two: Link to post
hi everyone! i got a lot of requests to transfer my thread about the situation regarding justy chapman and jazzy oliver over to tumblr. so i'm going to be copying and pasting the posts i made on twitter here.
below the read more will be all the details concerning the grooming allegations against justy chapman, and why jazzy oliver was fired for platforming justy after their rightful termination.
we will start with a reposting of the original thread made about justy chapman, back in 2025.
context for the original 2025 thread below: hiraeth is the person who made the original claims that justy chapman was grooming him, after his friends expressed alarm over how close justy was getting to him, since hiraeth had just turned 18 and had been a big fan of justy chapman's since he was a minor
that was the original thread. now i'm going to be including some of what's been posted in present days. starting with hiraeth's video claiming justin chapman "did nothing wrong."
to summarize this video, hiraeth claims that he was pressured by those around him who expressed concern over how flirtacious justy was behaving with him into accusing justy chapman with "false allegations of grooming." he also confesses to have reconnected with justy after a year of not talking to them, meaning that at the time that hiraeth made this video: he was in contact with justy.
he ends the video by making a joke about how justy is a twink, which proves justy and hiraeth are still speaking inappropriately in private and that justy is still neglecting to uphold the boundaries a 28-29 year old should be practicing with a teenager.
after his initial video, hiraeth hosted a qna stream where he answered questions about the situation. in one instance, he made the bizarre claim that minors cant groom other minors, with the logic that those minors were just "dealing with something" and therefor stating it didn't count as grooming- invalidating victims of COCSA (child on child sexual assault.)
24 seconds · Clipped by kraf · Original video "Serious QNA" by SPRYRIOT
hiraeth would double down on this claim, stating that it's impossible for minors to groom other minors, and that minors shouldn't be held accountable for their actions.
he also defends a 24+ year old adult that says once a teenager is "legal," they CANT be manipulated by older adults. even in romantic/sexual settings. he pushes the idea that once teens are "legal" they're allowed to interact with adults however they want without restrictions. pushing the idea that it's impossible for a teenager to be manipulated or groomed by older adults.
it was then revealed that hiraeth wasn't the only young fan justy spoke to in private. hiraeth's friend, a 15 year old (now 16) had been speaking to justy in private for a month. and hiraeth used their interactions with justy as "proof" that justy "wouldn't groom someone."
hiraeth would go on to harass people who point out how his claims put children in danger, as well as denying victims of COCSA (child on child sexual assault) that they were groomed or abused. he claims that a minor who was groomed cannot groom another minor.
hiraeth continued to double down on their denial that minors can groom minors, claiming justy did nothing wrong, and refusing to explain to their 15 y/o friend why it was wrong that justy spoke to them privately for a month.
its important you guys know hiraeth and justy are Still talking privately. and ever since, hiraeth has been claiming he's "mature for his age" and blaming victims of grooming and making sexual jokes about justin. hiraeth's defense of justy is extremely biased and cant be trusted.
what those two have is extremely inappropriate. there's several warning signs that justy has been allowing/encouraging hiraeth to develop these twisted mindsets. hiraeth defending justy's behavior because he's "mature for his age" is a HUGE red flag. groomers use this tactic alot
worse yet, hiraeth and another adult friend of his have been trying to spread the idea within the OSC that teens should be allowed to date adults of any and all ages. which is incredibly dangerous, especially when hiraeth's 15-16 year old friends are so trusting of his judgement (as you saw above.)
you guys need to stop looking at the situation as a chance to "finally go back to enjoying justy chapman's work again without guilt". this isn't about your fandom content. this is about a real adult and their dangerous influence and direct contact with real teens and children.

Part Two: Jazzy Oliver's involvement.
(sorry i'm splitting these up into two posts, tumblr has a restriction on how many pictures i can put on one post)
on the topic of the recent justy situation + jazzy firing...
why are people so harsh to adam for firing people? like. maybe for those who are unaware, the firings of people like taylor and jazzy may seem unfair, and if you haven't looked into the justy allegations beyond hiraeth's video about them being false, actually, you'd also not get a very good impression of how he acts on these situations, but like. that's his job. and he's not the only person who decides on this — he most likely has to talk with other higher up crew members about these decisions.
and besides that, the people who say all these nasty things about adam for firing people don't know the full extent of what lead up to the firing. they hear one side, or vague details about what happened, and assume he's a bad person who fires people over minor misdemeanours, when taylor and jazzy have historically caused a lot of drama online/handled discussions online very poorly, and justy had plenty of evidence of grooming, with nothing to prove that they didn't do it. honestly, with, justy's firing specifically, i find it quite admirable that adam was able to stick to his morals so strongly, considering they were close friends for such a long time (and didn't have any bad blood, unlike him and taylor). there is an unfortunately small amount of people that would do what he did — many people in that position would deny their friends' misconduct, or keep them around anyways. finding out your friend did something horrible is hard, and having to make a decision like that was probably hard on him (hence why it annoys me whenever people ask him about the firing), this wouldn't've been easy to accept or do, but he did it anything, and that's a really good thing
also feels kinda odd to me how people focus so much on adam and not anyone else in charge. not to pull the anitsemitism card, but it feels kinda iffy to me...
idk. this is poorly worded and i don't think i have any right to speak on this topic, but i wanted to let these thoughts out
update: in which jazzy oliver tries to take down michael huang and immediately backtracks
(previous post here)
shorter one this time. so not long after they made an announcement about their firing (which you might've heard of at this point), jazzy oliver decided to make another youtube post. it was quickly deleted, but people on twitter have corroborated that it is indeed real:
again, not the best look. ignoring that this isn't the best time to bring this up, i think there is a certain time and place to kiss your partner, and while the two of you are on-stage at an event in front of a child audience doesn't feel like it.
i gave them some benefit of the doubt when it came to the first post, but now, i don't know if jazzy knows what self-restraint is. again, time and place. if you just lost your job, would you be trying to say things that might give off the impression it was for the better?
jazzy needs to know better than this with how many controversies they've been at the center of by now.
As of today, March 22nd, I will no longer be voicing in Inanimate Insanity. This is heartbreaking to say the least. I was fired for speaking in defense of a friend who I thought was in the clear and at no point was I ever told about the exact details of what occurred. I am furious, I am mad, and most of all, I'm sad. I have made mistakes in the past and I have done my best to correct them. And it's unfortunate it had to end like this.
But this is not a sad ending. I don't believe in that. Frankly, and I'm relieved to say this...I wanted to get out for awhile. The fandom has been not great to me and I had my own issues with production that I unfortunately cannot speak on at this time. I wanna focus on other aspects of my career and want to use this as an opportunity to move forward. As I said, there's a lot I want to say, but for various reasons, I can't say them now. Maybe another time. Another place, but for now, I'm gonna focus on me.
This isn't the end of my career. It isn't even close. I will bounce back and keep moving forward.
Thank you to every single amazing fan I've met, every cast member I worked with, every cool person I got to know through this series. I'm sad it ended here and I'm sad I lost this job doing what I thought was right, but at the end of the day, all I can do is keep on moving!
i didn't want to make a post like this, but at this point, i feel like i need to get this off my chest just to have easier piece of mind. this is also the first time i talk about OSC drama (and post OSC content on this blog in general), so bear with me if this isn't worded the best.
to begin with, justy chapman has had multiple parasocial allegations leveled at them that (at least to my knowledge) span back several years. i won't go into too much detail, but this excellent twitter thread by @lemon-sunsh1ne presents all known allegations as of right now.
in the midst of this, jazzy oliver (the current voice of paintbrush and silver spoon) makes a youtube post on the situation. it has since been deleted, but lemon-sunsh1ne has posted a copy on twitter:
it's interesting to note how quick jazzy is to take justy's side once hiraeth/SPRYRIOT's video allegedly proving their innocence dropped. for reference, if i remember correctly, jazzy's original announcement on the situation (which has since seemingly been lost to time) came only a few hours afterward. it's also interesting to note that jazzy ends their statement by calling justy their "best friend".
now, a lapse in judgement like this isn't unheard of. it's unfortunately a common trend for people to immediately believe someone's word, especially if it's about someone who was previously well-valued in the community.
however, this isn't the only announcement jazzy has made on the situation. late last night, they posted this:
i will concede, i think there's no point in attacking someone based on their physical appearance if that does not matter in the slightest to the situation surrounding them. in fact, i somewhat believe this community needs to learn how to handle situations maturely instead of resorting to sending the kinds of DMs that jazzy has allegedly faced.
however, here they've admitted themselves that they did not do much research on justy chapman or their allegations. jazzy was still on twitter in 2024 when the allegations dropped, so they would have had more than enough opportunities to do research on them, and in any case, to prioritize personal relationships over drama as a crew member of the show gives off a general air of unprofessionalism.
i hate to admit it, but this behavior simply cannot be overlooked. some form of action needs to be taken about this, whether it includes demoting jazzy somehow or not. defending a former director currently being accused of grooming just because you want them to stay your "best friend" does not look good for the rest of the crew.
here's hoping i never have to discuss a situation like this again. stay civil in the notes.
in addition, jazzy has brushed off the grooming allegations as "internet drama" about their friend on bluesky. i think the less i need to say about that, the better
feel like i might need to start using this blog more, so have a little leafy doodle i did just now :3 she has 97 mental illnesses and is banned from most public spaces
