One of the most unique things about the elder scrolls universe is their dwarves. Namely that there aren’t any. Well not anymore. Well there’s one. Probably. Point is, they’re gone. Also they were elves. And not short.

Are they dead, you ask? Well here’s the thing. We don’t know. By all accounts one moment they were there and the next moment they weren’t. They used music to make magic though. That might be what got them disappeared. The hubris you know. With the music. Or maybe they got what they wanted. Maybe they’re all inside that giant robot over there. Point is, we don’t know. They’re not here anymore and that’s what we know. They left their steam powered spiders behind though. Creepy little assholes.

Were the dwarves underground? Usually. Did they all have beards? Unclear. How did they make the snow elves blind? Unclear. Are there any dwarves left? There’s one guy. He was off-world when the event happened. He’s just as confused as we are. How is he still alive? Caught a disease that disfigures you but also makes you live forever. Were the dwarves chill? No. Did they have gods? No. Reportedly they wanted to become gods instead. Where did they get all this random yellow metal from? Unclear. Why are all their beds made of stone? Because they were just quirky like that.
